.....but only if you have not already done the quest. In either Mos Espa or Mos Entha, there is a guy named Matt Rags. If you have not already done all of his quests, you now(after being fixed a while back) gives a finaly quest reward. "Master Hunter Trophy" a giant skull with horns sort of like the Polished Krayt Skull.
The problem is I did these quest way back when in the first few months of the game. The full quest didn't work and even though you completed them all you didn't get any items or skull trophy in the end. Like many of the smaller quests in the game.
Well since they have fixed it, and I have seen what you get. The "Master Hunters Trophy" skull. You get this after the finaly quest Matt Rags gives you. Well I have finished them and so he won't talk to me now, just gives me the standard "I don't have anything more for you." Well I put in a bug report, and talked to a CSR but they can't/won't reset these minor quests.
I was rather pissed (Irish Bothan Attitude) and told them that it's not my fault I tried to use their game in the beginning when it was broken. Now that its fixed either let me do the quests again and get the rewards, or just give me the reward.
Anyway you can mention this in the coor forum, or to TH? It's frustrating that because the quests were broken in the beginning and I tried to do some, I'm now screwed out of the cool rewards because I tried the game in the first few months.
There are many smaller quests I've done, but frankly this is the one I really want to redo or get the reward for. Seeing as I'm an avid ranger/hunter, it's a cool quest item.

Squid,
I haven't done many such quests, but in certain cities I could have sworn I've run into npc's that are called something like "historians" (eh, that's not quite right, but it was something along those lines), and their purposes seemed to be to "reset" players with respect to such quests. Maybe next time you're in that city you can do an area track and see if you can locate such a npc.

I know on one of theplantes, there's a couple NPC's by the Jedi Ruins. If you talk to one, and do a quest, the otherone will not speak to you. However, return to the nearest starport and there is a Imperial Captain NPC who asks if you want to erase your history on the planet. Do so, and any quests you've taken will be reset. It's the only way the other person at the temple will talk to you.
*edit note sorry about the double post*

Hehe, well the theme parks do have npc to let you reset it after the reward changes. I also had thought that there was such things as Historians to reset the smaller quests. But I looked all over town, and looked thruogh npc's listed on Alakhazam and found nothing. I also asked the CSR and he said there was no such thing. But I have already proven that doesn't mean anything, cause all the CSR I talk to don't know crap about this game. One even told me that you DO get item decay when insured in PvP death. WTS?

There definately is an NPC to reset the Tatooine quests. I believe he is in Mos Eisley. Should have (Planet Record Keeper) after the name. I haven't tried using him yet but it should reset everything but Jabba's Palace and Huff's quests.

I have this trophy. Neener neener neener!
Matt Raggs is in Mos Espa, near the Podracer helmet quest (Kitster?)
The trophy is a Bol skull. It's about 1/3 the size of the Krayt skull trophy given out by Darklighter but still a very cool item for a ranger.

Sat here thinking "Historian"? Thats not right its a planet something... Heh, saved me a trip to Mos Eisley you did.
Usually find two of them hanging about at th eback door to the cantina, the planetery one, not the wrecked spaceship. Oh, and the back door is the one that is at the other end from the bank...
oh crud. I just realised I'm starting to know the Tat towns layouts too well....

No, it's not Ranger specific.
You should have some basic combat skills though, if you want tosolve it on your own.

You know, I stopped doing anything with NPCs after getting burned a lot. I have not done this one (I don't frequent Tat). I might now.
...and thanks for the tip on Historians.
