That would matter if it was actually possible to hit a Krayt with a trap.

um, I threw a total of 10 p-darts in a row at one and NOTHING took... I started to think they were immune. I'm not really sure this is unblancing.

By golly gosh, I solo'd a crazed durni, with only a little help from a passing Ch who had 2 manical maulers and an insane duck. I threw a total of 142 traps, 3 worked, I died 7 times and lost 2 pets, a droid and my marbles. Oh yeah, I harvested 9 whole hide units too.

Traps on a Krayt? LOL

They don't even work on Kimogila!

P-Darts don't work on kimos. However, stink bombs do and then pets can use there status effects on them.

I was just going to post something about traps and Krayts...

HAs anyonen ever had a trap effect a Krayt? I must have thrown over 50 traps at a krayt during a hunt on Saturday, and not one was effective. Has anyone ever gotten a trap to stick to a krayt? How much XP did you receive?

100 traps at different times....not a single success

Krayt juveniles...are another story...2000 trapping xp and mine hit 90% of the time

Traps work for me on giant kimogilas, about every other one fails though, so it's very risky. I soloed a kimogila one time ever, every time since they beat me. Just not a high enough success rate with traps on them. It's 50/50 leaning towards 40/60 chances of winning solo against one.

using traps on krayts?? what are you loco man? i turn my mask sent off even let alone dare to use a trap especially since they've never done anything for me.

I have yet to hunt krayts since I can't seem to get a hunting group for them on Ahazi together for the life of me. However, I have hunted kimogilas. Every p-dart except one I used worked, where as every stink bomb I used except 2 didn't work. I only got one noise maker to work, and half of my glow-wires worked. They give almost 2k trapping xp for a succesful trap as well 1888 I think was the exact number.

by "soloing a krayt" i'm assuming you mean killing one with a group of 10 right??? =)
