actually, what would be the point to use your traps against these creatures? Especially if you were soloing one. I dont see how you would escape the inevitablereturn to the cloning facility.

Ive only managed to solo them with a pet and even then it took running away, calling a new pet and going again. The other method which i find more effeective is completely out of the ranger scope. Once i finished my trap line i've never touched my traps. Why? because the difference for me was insignificant with my other class being a master rifleman. teaming up with other friends further made it a waste of damage time as they had the same debufs on them which they could fire or hit with good damage.

I love being a rangerfor what it isand what it could potentially be but so far the only thing ituseful to meis that itallows me to conceal players with no scouting ability, track down anyone (although the krayts always seem to excape my search) and make me a better rifleman with my crawl speed. I do look forward to the new traps that they mentioned some time back though, i believe those will have alot of strategic and tactical usage.

Mask scent is debatable, sometimes im better off not using it at all but it varies case to case and what creatures you want to avoid which is something you learn onlythrough experience or, as the game changes with each patch. But the current traps for me in any case are something i dont bother with anymore.
