Hey everyone,
Got a quick question. Has anyone had trouble harvesting lately? I have a few simple macros set up that allow me to harvest w/o using the targeting system. i.e.
/harvest meat;
/loot all;
I haven't had ANY problems w/ this for the past 6-8 months & for the past week I can't even radial target to harvest, the only option that comes up is lootall. I've submitted bug reports on both days it's happened. I was pretty pissed off because I was hunting in demand organics & how can I make money if I can't harvest what I'm going for? 4-3-4-4 Ranger.

Hey Ozziss.. I had no idea you were a ranger when I met you the other night 
No problems for me.. was out on Endor last night.. all harvesting working okay. Sorry, mate.. it's just you.

There is a thread about this happening on the droids on the scout forum. Was this manual harvesting or droid harvesting?

I wasn't able to harvest either of 3 ways, wether it be manual, droid, or macro. I wasn't buffed & killed atleast 5 Piket protectors, only to get nothing for my efforts. Then the following night I was buffed & slaughtered roughly 50 creatures, only to get nada again. I hope they can fix my character.

Have you opened a CSR ticket? Because otherwise you may not get fixed

I submitted bug reports, how do I open a CSR ticket? Thanks for the responses in the thread guys, nice to know I can get an answer or atleast help in app. 5 minutes.

ingame CTRL-H opens your holocron. One of the buttons, going from memory onthis, is submit ticket. But its in the holocron that you open it. After you open it expect a wait of 1 to 2 days. Im sure they are getting millions of "The old man didnt visit me" tickets flooding the system. So it might be slow while they answer it with "You just have to waits". In your case you probaly wont get instant satisfaction. But if you want to make a recommendation ask them if you can drop all of your scout and get it back again to retrigger it.

Last night it was working like it was supposed to. I'm just nervous after I spend some cash getting buffed up for a nice long hunt, all my money will be for nil. I seriously doubt they're going to refund my cash for the problems I had. Oh well, so lives another day of bugs & things that make you scratch your head. Thanks a million again guys. I owe you a beer in game if I ever see any of you.

Jawa beer? It ads to terrain negotiation. Think of a bunch of drunk rangers crawling at top speed

It was probably related to all the server problems they were having with the new patch. Hopefully it shouldn't happen anymore. I also remember reading about some sort of fix to harvesting the wrong thing sometimes but I don't think this was the problem. I do know that, on patch night, I was unable to get any radial options other than the defaults (like the harvesting option would be) and stuff like areatrack would take 10 minutes or so to work. Maybe they are related?

Not sure if it's related or not, but I was hunting on Yav a couple nights ago and went in to Woolamander Palace and the Woolamanders inside only harvested out 1 unit of hide (while woolamanders outsider averaged around 51).
Had the same issue with Klikniks inside Blue Leaf Temple.
Maybe that's a longstanding issue...got me. Was the first time I ever hunted either place.

That is by design so people don't camp the caves to be able to get unlimited harvests of good resources.
