Strawberries and whipped cream go good with pancakes too.

Actually, strawberries and cream are fine on their own. Especially since we don't have waffles in the UK (well we do have them, but they're savoury and made of potato...)

Hmmmlay, strawberries and cream on a pancake is just wrong. Pancakes don't have those nifty little ridges and wells to hold that precious berry goodness. Just flat, barren, meh-ville type surface.

Nothing beats cold pizza and beer on a Saturday Morning. Except cold pizza and beer on a Sunday morning, when the NFL and Baseball are both on.../drool.

Wait... Are they Belgain Waffles? If they aren't, then I say Meh...

Nothing beats my coronary pancakes, not even waffles! (Though I do like waffles. Well mainly playing with the waffle-maker thingy. Never close your hair in one - it ends badly.)

Cut a strip of bacon in half, put both pieces in a pan and cook one side. Flip the bacon and arrange it in an X in the pan, then pour the pancake batter on top of it. No need to grease the pan. Serve with 100% maple syrup and fresh fruit, to cut the heaviness.

Follow up with a brisk walk, so you don't fall over dead in your 30s. (Except you chip butty people - you are beyond hope.)

I don't think they're actually from Belgium... I went to Europe this summer and the Closer you get to Belgium, the less Waffles you see. But you never know, maybe it was more of an underground movement type of thing, to combat Musli, the breakfast "food" from hell.
