Thread: A Great Forum

I have to say that this is one of the best forums on this site. If you check out the bounty hunter, pistoleer, or jedi forums all you hear is whining and begging to get their profession fixed. This profession has been broken for just as long as any other profession. It has even been promised things and not seen anything for 6+ months. Through it all this board has remained constructive and civil. It makes me proud to be a Ranger.

It remains the best thing about being a Ranger doesnt it. (Thats a sad statement in itself now I think about it)

I agree with you totally.

As far as the other professions you mention, well if you poke your head in their forums you get all you deserve really, scary aint they....

Themediocrity of our profession keeps the impatient people out of the profession, thus leading to a more mature forum constituency. These mature folks are, in turn, becoming more impatient...uh oh!

(It sounds like i am running for office )

Edit: Reworded the first line as it could have been misinterpreted .

I just hope that once we do get fixed that we don't become a flavor of the moment. I read a little on the rifleman boards and there are some veterans there that are just waiting for their flavor of the moment status to change.

I agree whole heartly that this is the most constructive, mature, and anything but mediorcer forum of all the profession board. I think patience is a virtue (though it has become trying over the last couple of months) of the ranger. I still maintain that all good things come to those that wait.

and Shag, I by know means thing anyone in here is boring, they may be older then me, but thats a blessing, and I never fart, I boof

Patiently waiting

A good friend and I realized one day a while ago that we were complaining about "kids these days". We had grown up and didn't even know it! D'OH! (Ok, not all that grown up...)

I like Rangers. I just wish the Devs had the same point of view. Oh well, at least the wait is more fun with this forum.

ROFL! I just wish the Devs liked us as well!

Wonder what would happen if they were forced to play a Ranger for a month or even a week (not just create a Master Ranger on the fly but actually play the darn profession up from Master Scout)? Hmmm.
