Thread: Mineras's MUST READ post on SWG discussion forum
Mineras posted this in SWG Discussion and many people have "one-starred" it so that it would not be seen.
Unfortunately, I had to search pretty deep to find it.
Please support Mineras's efforts by reading his posts and voting honestly.

If nothing else, it is heartening to note that we DO have the best correspondent.

But I will hate to lose you as our correspondent cause you are the best, so as a favor to us rangers next time dont post like that on the main boards. The devs might want to kick you out correspondent for that and get someone that fits their "criteria". Just give it to one of us in a pm and we post it for you. I know you carry a lot more weight when posting than we do but... bah I dont know, is just the rating issue worries me.
Honestly the worst thing they can do to the rangers right now is taking our correspondent away.
Mineras have finally snapped! I can't blame the poor guy. Thank god I gave up my Ranger skills other than Frontier so I don't have the urge to snap someone either.
Does anyone notice Regen rate for Field Base improving over Scout camps? Cuz I don't
Actually , yes I've found with our group's master medic that almost always hunts with myself an a couple others regulaerly that her healing in the field base camps is about 20 % more effective then if a cheap scout camp was used to create a camp . Admitedly the 20 percent extra isn't a whole lot more it's still better then having nothing hehe .

I don't think they will do that. Can you imagine the backlash? It's not as though Mineras hasn't been patient. I think it will be a kick in the pants for the developers, and a rightly deserved one.
Give Mineras Luv and keep bumping his post.. the Devs need to see that the RANGERS ARE SICK OF BEING IGNORED.. there are more of us than they think...................

Nobody on the SOE team has enough time to play all the way up to Master Ranger right now, I'm afraid. That's a lot of hours invested! I doubt anyone on the team is Master anything yet...!
I do know that the designer in charge of rangers is passionate about making thigns fun and dedicated to working hard to make things that way. He's the same guy who basically created the entire scout track as well as several other professions. He's been asking for time to devote to the rangers for several weeks now, but other things keep coming up.
I'm just posting here to let you know that we are listening, we're just kind of swamped. Hopefully you'll get your correspondent replies in the next day or so. Hopefully Mineras will stick around so we can discuss improvements to the profession with him & by extension all of you.

I kind of figured that one since Ranger and Scout is pretty much identical. What would the odds be that a different person designed an elite profession and by dumb luck it mirrored its prerequesite with no appreciable difference except fornewtents and two traps that suck? Is it true that if you give an infinite number of monkeys each a type writer that one of them will just so happen to tap out the Declaration of Independance?

Seriously though the Scout profession is great, but it seems that the design stopped there. I bet he was in sleep deprivation when he mistakenly jotted down group terrain negotiation for Squad Leader instead of Ranger. (another winkie face)
