Thread: Since they are changing the rules on payout of missions...

They are changing the rules on how missions are payed out to eliminate "solo grouping" such that if 10 people take a 20k mission, the max you can get as payout is 2k even without the others near (this is not an intent to discuss THAT change) but in it came out that they want grouped pets to count toward mission level but NOT affect the payouts..
Emphasized for a reason.... if pets do not count towards a cut of the payout, I say they should NOT count towards harvest... i.e. if I am just grouped with my pets, I would rather not get cut to 60% of my harvest...I want it ALL... my pets work for me...
any one else agree or have other ideas about this?

I thought they made that change already? I know droids don't decrease harvest while grouped and I could have sworn the did the same with pets.

Pets and droids DO NOT count towards your harvest as a group. That was changed a long long time ago i believe it was publish 6 or 7 and it was in the notes.

Pets do not cut down harvest.
Nor do droids.
Grouped or ungrouped. This changed months ago.
However, I group with Joe and we add our two droids to get better missions. Do the droids count as "people" and do they have to be out for us to get the full pay?

I know you say you dont want to discuss it, but TH just (basically) said that pets taking your payout is a bug here

JB,
Currently, droids do count as people (i.e. the raise the mission difficulty you can get) and they DO NOT have to be out to get the full reward AFAIK. This is, of course, changing with the next patch (or is that what you were asking about?).

I didn't want to bring the mission payouts into a different discussion ... not whether pets get part of payouts

My bad then, since I rarely hunt with a droid or pet anymore since I am already there (tkm) see what happens when I dont pay attention?

I never hunt with edroids or pets either, so I wasn't 100%. I just vaguely remembered patch notes about it.

Ok, I think I see the answer, but am unsure.
If I have a droid out to get a higher mission - something I only do when grouped as my droid drops my missions solo - then the droid counts as a person and must be there at mission end to get a payout.
Do I get his payout?
Conversely - I draw a mission without Banger (droid). Get to mission site and pull him out of thin air and use him. Does that decrease my mission payout by half? What if I don't group him?
Silly questions, just too lazy to go onto TC and see.
