Really in practice. As someone who actually uses my pets and droids to hunt I have seen it this way. And they made the change on TC, because of the CH correspondent, to undo pets kicking up mission levels. So i guess this becomes a non-issue.

Ironically, the only thing that cuts into my harvest amount is my harvest droid.

I don't remember off the top of my head, but it is pretty low (around 30-40 range I think). Unfortunately I bought the droid before everyone had a chance to do comparison trials to understand how the rating worked. I figured it was a boost over whatever your current skill level was and that a higher rating would simply mean a better bonus. I didn't realize it had to be greater than your harvest skill, so I got a trapping/harvesting hybrid instead of a dedicated harvesting droid with a higher rating (at the time I don't think anyone was making droids over 100 anyway). As I understand it, even the best droid will harvest less than what I can get as a master ranger with veghash.

Personally my probot is 1 combat, 1 stim launcher, 1 trapping module, 2 auto-heals. Its replacement will be 1 trap module and 4 auto-heals. Harvesting nice but as a brawler im upfront anyway. If your a ranged ranger then harvest bots are nice. Especially now that Calc taught us about the ctrl - : key
