Funny thing I noticed while trolling the boards this afternoon---all of the correspondants chosen were previous corrs. I don't know if that means anything, but it sure is an odd statistic that the devs chose the same people again...for all three open positioins. I don't mean to imply anything bad, of course-- Calc is definately one of the people that I'd pick for being a Ranger corr, and all the other seemed like they knew what they were doing.
I just was wondering if it was a conscious choice to pick the old-schoolers, or if it just happened that way.

Blackferne was never a corr , but I do think there is a going to be a trend of re-corrs for a while...

Well lets see since most of the issues our professions have are the same ones as a year ago. Why would we need a new correspondent? Calc's top 5 issues are still on the dev forums and are still just as accurate now.

Old school can be good. Now that Calc is back he can pick up where he left off and give the Dev's hell about this rumored "Combat Upgrade" thing we hear is coming.

Like I said, I have no problem with it at all. Calc be good.
I could've sworn that all three of the new corr things said "welcome back so and so". Anywho--
Calc, now that you're our corr again, can you go on vacation real quick so we can have another big party? Now that Owen is one of us "norms" again, the party will be kicking! Espcially if you're not there. Not going to lie-- the Bothan nuzzling is a bit of a party foul.

The issues have been the same even post CU for over 2 years. Why would be even need a correspondent, egos not withstanding?

Back to just hanging around and saying what i feel. Not that i didnt let my emotions show sometimes as corr but much more free now hehe.

I think I should have been Ranger Corro., even though I didn't apply. The devs owe me for deleting my Jedi post, and besides, no one has grinded Ranger out more times than I have, and knows less about it.

The fact is we don't need a volunteer corr we need SOE to hire some employees that work at the site of the devs to take on this role.
