I had these ideas for the ranger profession that I think will help it.

Alright, so, rangers are supposed to be very in tune with nature. So there should be a special for ranger that will cause the ranger to spit out a flurry of acid. This has a 10m range and works like Improved Armor Break. Also, when a bleed attack is executed on the ranger, everything 10m around him takes damage due to his acid blood spilling out. The more bleed that stacks on him, the more acid blood that sprays out.

Also, due to the ranger's tie with nature, if they scream really loud they can bust heads. It would be an 800 damage attack that bypasses armor, and leaves the target in a Stun/Dizzy state. 50m range. Works on animals and players.

What do you guys think?

Needs more nuclear capability. Plutonium is natural, we should obviously be allowed to use it to our full advantage, though novice artisan should be required.

If you can't hold acid in your mouth, then you can't spit it. That also has nothing to do with being in tune with nature.

Neither does shouting really loudly.

if i had one skill i could add to rangers itd be the park ranger litterbug fine ability, which you could apply on anybody who has failed to harvest/loot a corpse for up to 3 credits per level of every unlooted/harvest corpse

i cant say for sure, but i think this is a partially sarcastic thread

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

Perhaps I wasn't clear.

Rangers should be able to craft and insert an acid gland into ther mouths, underneath their tounge. I hope this clears everything up.

Um, glands are organic. That'd be more like a pouch.

And, that really doesn't explain the nature-ie part.

Natural attacks would be way out of line in this game. State effects, like Wookie roar, are racial. Now, what would be the difference between an "Acid" trap and your proposal?
