Ranger Archive

Hey I am Uboo Fire of Intrepid. When I am playing SWG I feel like I am alone out there and I don't have any other Rangers to share my problems. So I am thinking about starting a new Ranger Organization. Any body have any comments on how to get one started or where I can join one??????? tThis organization will be kind of like a Labor Union, by: seting prices on tracking, harvesting, big game hunts Etc... Let me know what you think good or bad!!!!!

I was going to post you a link to the Antarian Rangers thread by Fred Skinner but... Owne gave in to the peer pressure and rearranged the stickies and now I can't find it!!

Intrepid had an AR chapter, but I think it disbanded. Actually, the Antarian Ranger website that linked to all the galaxy chapters doesn't even seem to be up anymore.

Your best bet to find other rangers would be your server's RIN channel (or ranger related chat channel if people there have chosen to name it differently).

I'm working on Master Ranger on Intrepid. And yes, it's been difficult finding others of our kind (which I suppose is a good thing). You could always send me an in-game mail and we could meet and talk and stuff. I've been working on Master Ranger/Master Carbineer (w/ medic and fencer skills) to round out my combat side. After all the discussions I've read about Rangers being poor PvP characters, I decided to proove everyone wrong (it may be a loosing battle).

But I'd be interested in maybe forming a Ranger Trader Association or something, to make cash and help with the hunting. Look me up, I'm on almost every night.

al-djinn'i and i have been trying to get a ranger group started on naritus for a few months now but without much luck. it seems that the very, very few rangers i see on our server are either rebels (as of this point, we're making it imperials only as someone else is trying to set up a group that's more rebel-aligned), or they're already in a guild. but your idea is almost exactly what we had in mind. good luck to you in starting it! i hope there are more rangers on your server then ours.

I'm a master ranger on Naritus and definitely find that there is only a small population of us out there. I would love to talk to you about this some more though. We'll find each other in-game and chat about this some more.
BTW, is there no RIN on Naritus??

there is, actually, but it's not made until one of us logs in which is sometimes very late in the day. i'll definitely keep my eye out for you.

Hehe, I didn't think Naritus had enough rangers to hijack a thread. Alas, the thesis is belied.
