Hey i was searching through the ranger boards looking for what the avg price range for tracking was. Well needless to say i had to read ittwice that ppl were only charging 25k -100k.
I charge 200k for 1hr and 500k for finding it, for a total of 700k (if found in the hr) Here is my logic for charging that much. In an hr a masterelite combat profession can make about 250k in an hr running jantas. Now they can do that while i track so i think that shows my reason for charging 200k per hr. As for the 500k for finding it, you can sell the loot from mostcreatures youwill trackfor a lot more than 500k. If I wanted I could just kill it myself or get guild members to help me and sell the loot. So i think 500k i think is atleast close tojustified.
Also these prices are not static. If the person is a pain "I need you to come track a gdk for me asap" is going to be charged a lot more than "Hello, can i hire you to track a gdk for me?". The other factor that warrents the price is the boring nature of tracking itself.
Justfood for though
btw I apologize for any spelling or grammatical errors.

Spellings not important anyway. Now taking words and purposely shortening them.. U comes to mind. Or screwing them up on purpose say joos is discouraged.

Whenever I track the Hero of Tatooine NPCs I charge 200k per mark. Now, as a way to differentiate myself, I charge ONLY if I find the marks... this makes for a good challenge on yourself and gives the customers a good sense of confidence
It usually takes me 10-15 minutes to find the Pirates, 15-30 for the boar and the farmer (used to be a lot faster, but freaking SOE kinda modified the spawn areas for them a couple weeks ago, so they're larger now).
Regarding tracking GDK or Krayts, I'm usually offered around 500k-1 mill for a confirmed WP. As for Graul Marauders, people pay up to 3 mill for a confirmed WP.

Guys, remember there is a thing called market value. You can charge as much as someone pays. Also remember that different servers have different economies. I might be able to charge 100k per hour on Eclipse, but only 10k per hour on Wanderhome...

Make that 400 to 600k an hour. Creature harvesting usually gets even better then that. If you like to track, by all means do but charge what you feel your time is worth and don't argue/defend prices with potential customers, it will only give frustration to both of you.

My base price for tracking is 500k an hour, non-prorated, and it varies from there. Payment is due in advance unlessI personallyknow you or your guild. Payment is for my time, not my results. Trust me, I'm not going to wander around Yavin looking for a rare spawn for you just to not tell you about it.
- I charge double to triplemy base price for Hero quest tracking, depending on my mood and wallet size. Increase if it's after 1 pm, since no way it'll be up without a dozen other people looking for it. Availability is limited to about four hours a year, because I hate that thing. Time limit is 90 minutes, because that's all I can take. If you want me to track the Hero guys on a Friday night, be prepared to cough up obscene amounts of cash, and I do mean obscene. We're talking close to eight numbers obscene, because that's what it'd take me to do it.
- Half my base price for finding babies for CH's, if it's sometihng common enough (bol babies, etc.). Usually pro-rated to 15- or 30-minutes.
- Base price for rare babies or Jedi Trial mobs. Usually pro-rated to 30 minutes.
- Double any price if someone's rude, but not rude enough to stop working for them.
- 100% idiot tax. ("Don't attack those, they'll wipe us out aga-- Oh, **edit**, run!")
- Discount and prorating for people who're nice and pleasant.
- Trades available, but only if it's something I can use (not resell). (Got a few cases of sweet brandy or veghash? We just may have a deal.)
I also retain harvesting rights on anything we kill along the way.
Resources are available on a CPU basis only, unless you really want to pay me 500k an hour to harvest grind quality stuff off dwarf nunas.
