What creatures do i need to harvest for milk?

Milk is somewhat gated right now. The only way I know of to find it is through random loot drops (from NPCs, nightsisters are rumored to be good for it). There is a "city" on Talus beseiged by creatures that contains a few boxes that spawn resources. These boxes are probably the easiest way to get milk as most of the stuff they spawn is some form of resource. But they are usually camped heavily. Good luck with it.

just wanted to let you know something about milking that i found while checking it out today. A friend with minimal scout wasa getting 2-5 milk from milking savage humbabas when i milked them i was getting from 42-69 milk per harvest. So it appears that Master Rangers have a large advantage over novice scouts.

Just passing on the info.

Good to know. How would be in the market for milk and what is the CPU?

(BTW, I just saw Kingpin - don't milk the Bulls...)

Well... That's interesting.

I tested this one Test Center, and didn't notice any difference betweena Novice Scout and a Ranger's pull while milking.

Guess I'll have to test it on Live. Hmmm...

Ok, I did a quickie teste and received the following results:

Non-scout (concealed by me):

  • 99 milk

  • 68 milk

Master Ranger (myself):

  • 62 milk

  • 102 milk

It is only four sample points, but there should have been still been a distinct difference if any skill was involved.

Is it because those are agro critters maybe?

Also, I thought we were only going to be able to milk herbivores (vegie eaters), but I hear tell of people milking cats and birds? What is this mass hysteria?
