Ok maybe i'm slow or just missed something or someone mentioning we can shoot from mounts. I havent ridden a mount in awhile electing to either stroll on foot, or if in a hurry pull my bike out to get where I need to be, so maybe I just missed out on a patch note. Tonight I pulled out my mount (Maggie) and was wonering around Tat, when some pesky wort, decided it wanted to chew on eithe my leg or maggies (maggie is a bantha, so it must of been her leg as mine are like 20 feet in the air) and next thing I know the poor wort is a corps. huh I think, Maggie must have stepped on it. So alittle further along a rill tries to either bite my leg or Maggies, and this time I see that I'm shooting it! While riding! with a DXR-6b (I know over kill). I get a messege saying my mount slows down and I start to shoot. When did this happen? or is this something new? I dont know, do you?

Yes its always been a feature, you can auto fire
Asa note though your mount slows down when in combat so you cant run as fast as you normally would so you cant kite every non-cat creature.

Its also the only way to fire while in water. Since you cant shoot from a bike at all. And you cant fire while swimming.

I'm rather bent that you can't use melee weapons from a mount. Sure you'd have to be at close range, but still. Cavalry isin't exactly any kind of new idea, it was around before firearms. If I'd known that before, I might have put that in my one sentence to TH. Do you know if there are any plans to include melee in this?

C'mon Fred, swords of most type have been used while on horseback, also axes and hammers and flails 'n' other fancy stuff. How 'bout a little love for the leezard with the axe?

OH
If you have seen the animated Clone Wars that G.L. had the Cartoon Network do you would know that they had fighting from swoops. Melee, no less. REAL Vibrolances and a counter-cavalry charge that looked a bit like a high-speed multi-columnjoust. Ya, the devs have a lot to do to make this game more like the movies still...

"At least" means "no less then this, more is possible"

As far as I know, every melee profcan attack from mounts. We had a master Swordsman doing it on our first Ranger Meet and I have done it as a TKM....

Hot damn, now I know what I'm buying next. Any chance of a non CH being able to ride around on one of the big turtles?
