We should start a petition in protest! Yeah because they fix all problems. Or just convince the devs that Jedis want to ride giant turtles into battle and thats it important to the game for that reason.

I was joking about the petition of course. But then you knew that. As for the turtles lets think this through. If we can find some point in one of the books, movies, comic books, maybe even the christmas special. Somewhere some jedi must have been on a tortor.

Yep as was said, you can only autofire from a mount, no specials. Here is my latest post on adding the "mounted combat" to ranger so we can use our specials.

I'm not sure I understood you Stump. I know I can autodefend with TKA skills while mounted. Are you saying that you can't autodefend with 1 handed or 2 handed weapons? Or is the issue that you would like to initiate combat & use your specials?

Must be something in the water! Just the day before yesterday, as a result of overhearing people in Eisley tell some novices that they can't shoot mounted, I went out of town and had a try.
Seems all ranged and melee weapons, including unarmed, can attack from a creature mount, but as has been said above, no specials.
For a long time I've had this aim of seeing a detachment of Rangers, mounted on bol, charge down the dunes of Tatooine and into that Tusken village, firing as they get in range, dismounting and unleashing specials and special attacks by pets... Then again, I loathe Tusken and love to see them get some payback.
Fully support the mounted ranger proposal and reckon it should cover CH too. Just 'feels' right.

LOL I think as long as you take the Bothan or Wookiee out of them first they probablywont smell that bad

Bothan marksman on a giant carrion spat. Without a stepladder, how does he get up there?
BIG wookie on a kaadu. Just looked like an obscene quadroped wookie.

I remember when mounts first came out, you could mount a Baby Giant Carrion Spat.
Now that was funny, a tall ass wookie riding a tiny tiny chicken. Im not kidding the things wouldnt even reach to the wookies knees and could ride em lol

It actually scaled the wookie model to the little mounts. So youd have a wookie the size of a large jawa. Oh i miss those days. Our guild wookie refused to use a mount for that reason

I'm not entirely sure who gets the thread hijacking XP on this one. I'm gonna award 100 points to anyone that used the phrase hotpants and 200 to anyone who refered to wet/burning Bothans and Wookies.
oh and I give myself 350xp for mentioning both...AND bringing back the Forum Ranger idea.

I thought that the post was saying only ranged weapons could be used on a mount but i was corrected earlier in the thread

lol that would of been funny. Im a large human so i looked i state when riding it hehe but i could just imagine a wookie doing it hehe
