I dont know about you,but I never see rangers anymore,no thanks to speeders.I am not a ranger but I fear when JTL comes out they will all but disapear.Would this proffesion be better if it was revamped into a more "combat" type profesion.I was thinking it could be something just the oposite of Commando.A ranger would use more stealth like specials and be more of a Sec. Ops. profession like (army rangers,navy seals etc...) instead of using outright firepower like a Commando.By doing this it would cut down on the numbers of Commabndo's and Bounty Hunters we see,by adding 1 more elite combat "type" profesion. what do you think?

Are you looking in cities?Try out in the wilds,at least that's where I useally am.
As far as JTL goes,yeah we'll all have our ships,but we'll still be on the ground most of the time.Again,probably out in the wilds.
We already are a "combat"support profession,mainly PvE,but we have put forth many great ideas to increase our role.(see Freds "stealth" proposal)

many rangers are often creature handlers or some other profession which they choose to list first. i've seen a few master rangers, i keep my novice tag up on one of my characters(haven't decided whether to master or not yet). try doing searches. and look in the public chat room. on corbantis me and some other rangers started keeping a ranger network open. if i'm on, i'm listening to that channel. i think its a good idea for rangers because then they can share information quicker, being that its such a small population i think its important. if you're on corbantis, send my character koji a tell or an email if you need some help.

Actually on bloodfin lately im running into one at almost every startport i go to. Its been odd to see the master ranger tags

My Ranger's camo seems to be working really really well. So well that I haven't seen much of her.

Return of the Magic? Is that a new SWG expansion pack? Wow it would be reall cool if we could have mages square off against Jedis. Oh i'd pay for that expansion.

As we can keep our current skills and pick up pilot besides them, I see no reason why JTL should negatively affect the amount of rangers.

You will probly see less rangers but only because they will be flying around in space.
Most of the ranger population here are long timers and we have been here since the beggining and expect to be here at the end.
I personally will never drop ranger, and im sure you will see me around on eclipse when a super avain pops and all the part time harvesters are out flying hehe, ill be raking in the money like something crazy.

In JTL we should be able to harvest that worm that tried to eat the falcon. That thing has to be like CL1000 and give you a 10k harvest.
