I will pay 100k for successful location on Chimaera server.

i found an NPC. He is standing in the Squill Cave on Tatooine.
Can i have my 100k now 
by the way, no server was specified, and I fould this NPC (i think it says he's a Hermit) on the Lowca Server.

Given how we are generally sick of being asked to track, I applaud your post, but he did actually say "I will pay 100k for successful location on Chimaera server.". So he did specify a server.

Okay okay... You can all give up now.
I rolled a character on the Chilastra server, popped out the starport in Mos Eisley and there was an artisan trainer right opposite me.

That's better even than being a doctor.

OK, I want to find the Pirate Leader NPC on Tatooine.
I play on Chimaera, so thats the server we are talking about.
I need him to be a red dot, not white. If he is white, someone has taken the mission and we need to find another spawn.
If we find this NPC as a red dot, due to your efforts, you will receive 100k.
Contact me ingame using the name soldado for further details.
OR for those who need it literal
WHO: Pirate Leader NPC
WHAT: Hero Quest - Mark of Honour
WHERE: Planet Tatooine, SERVER Europe-Chimaera
WHEN: To be discussed, preferably when I am online 
HOW: You use your tracking skills to locate this NPC, I then complete the quest.

Actually, I know Docs that are tired of buffing and crafters that don't want custom orders. They (and we) have more skills then that you know.
And for the money bit: We also have a creature harvesting mod. He's paying 100k to find a pirate leader. Let's assume the one who takes it gets really really really lucky and finds it in an hour. He's still taking a pay cut. In that hour he could have done a bunch of missions, milked the creatures, get eggs from the lair and kill/harvest the creatures for meat/hide which alltogether pays more then 100k an hour.

actually man the pirates can be white, it just means that someone has beaten them, but has no talked to them yet.

This post should be moved to the Trade forum. Services fall under exactly the same category.
If we allowed harvesting and tracking requests to be made on this forum, they would fill up the board in less than a day.
How would the Doctor forums look of everyone who wanted a buff posted there?

What does it matter to you? Is it your forum server? Are you a moderator?
A contract is different to a buff, just in case you have been in the wilderness of Dathomir too long.
Move along, go troll somewhere else. SWG doesnt suck, its some of the people playing it...

Yes, we are sick and tired of being asked to help -
A. People do the Hero Quests. It's your quest hero, you do it.
B. Jedis do their trials. I will give em a trial, I will find and kill anything they are looking for.
I can make 100k in about a half hour. It's not a big secret who you are looking for, it's the Rancher. You said NPC - if it was plural, it would be the pirates.
I get 100k upfront, per hour or any part of an hour, no guarantees as to results, and only the first hour of tracking is certain. If I get bored after that, bye. I find your NPC in 5 minutes, good for me - otherwise you get 60 mins.
Nothing is stopping you from getting Ranger - go for it

I matters to me because I am a Ranger, and as do many of the Rangers here, these boards are a key discussion spot about the profession we play. Services such as tracking and harvesting should not be on this board, in the same sense, that if everyone who wanted a gun posted on the Weaponsmith board, everyone who wanted a piece of armour posted on the armoursmith board and so on. Your request is a server specific trade request. You are buying the time of a Ranger on a specific forum. If I was looking to buy a fine weapon, I'd post on the Chimaera Trade forum. If I was looking to but crates of superb advanced power handlers then the trade forum is the place to go. The same goes for requests that involve buying a Ranger's time. If this forum accepted requests for these services, they alone would outweigh every single other form of post combined.

You can see I am not a moderator from my title. I fail to see the relevance of your point. May I ask at this juncture, Calculus to either make a big sticky saying Service posts are allowed, or another saying that they are not, and delete ones here.
A contract is different from a buff... well sure, one begins with the letter C and one begins with the letter B. On the other hand, they are both services offered by Elite professions and both extremely sought after. We can dance around semantics all day if you like, but it changes not the fact that you are buying a service and this isn't a trade forum.
I love Dathomir. It is now my favourite planet, moreso than Lok. The amount of time I have spent on Dathomir has in no way affected my powers of literacy or reasoning I assure you.
