P'kas. Was going to be my Bio Engineer but I switched her to be my Combat Monster so I can try out high-level content. Haven't had time to level her at all.

I am a slow leveler so I expect it will take me until this time next year to level any of them to Master level. You can find me on TC once ro twice a week.

I forget if Calc mentioned this. Since TC is so small there is a chat channel that everyone on the server joins called TCPA. Very much like RIN, but for everyone. It is an easy way to find training or just be amused by the TC personalities. RIN is also there.

Camina you are allowed to make three characters per account on TC so you can do both those thing on seprate characters.

TC has more players than you might think, and not a few notable rangers.

if you're thinking about playing on TC, remember a few things:

TC is a server. it isn't some hodge-podge of freebies. TC players PLAY on TC, and it is the ONLY server many players spend time on.

TC players test. we keep in touch with devs, QA's, and correspondents. we do on-call testing, we present bugs we find to them personally, we /bug issues, and we post to the 'In Testing' forum with bugs and feedback. the 'In Testing' sees lots of noise from Live players, and that does nothing but dilute the signal strength of productive TC feedback. '/first' posts don't belong there, nor do petitions or non-TC issues.

TC breaks. because we're banging unpublished code daily, we find some game-breakers. don't be surprised if vendors, shuttles, the bazaar, chat channels, or anything else you might rely on happens to break. don't expect it to be fixed immediately. TC is more stable than most players realize, but it breaks.

TC players use several community forums. from the SOE 'Test Center' and 'In Testing' forums to off-site forums, TC players have a lot (both chatter and test data) to share with each other, and bogging down these forums with extraneous posts doesn't help anything.

TC players get 3 toons per account. each alt represents the same player... and while some players pick a 'theme' for naming their alts, most alts are hard to trace back to a single player. if you don't see a doctor online, that doesn't mean that there isn't one available to buff... they just might be spending time on another toon.

JOIN THE TCPA CHAT. if you aren't connected to this, you're dead to a vast playerbase who can help you.

don't beg. ever.

play by the local rules of TC, whether they be server-wide agreements on consentual PvP ONLY, or local player city rules.

don't expect to be a rockstar on your first day. you're just another tourist with nothing to offer until you've shown the community that you can be counted on for more than an occasional login. most guilds won't consider you for recruitment unless you've been around for a month. guilds that actively recruit YOU are usually somewhat suspect ((JAT), the Jaat guild, is particularly known for this, and for griefing players and generally causing problems).

don't discuss 'Live' issues. we don't care how uber or leet you are on (servername here). don't complain about how much you hate TC if you don't like it... just /logoff.

be courteous. test what you can. have fun.

TC is always looking to add more good players to the community. TC players are NOT paid. they do NOT get anything free. working WITH TC players is good for everyone... annoying them is not.
