Yeah, but what sucks is (and note, I'm not even close to being there yet)...

We're out in the wilds with a hunting group. Make this uber-camp for our group. Everyone is happy and has all the comforts of home. Yay for us.

Oh, what's that on the radar? Some red dots? Aggresive? Stalking? Hmmm..

And they attack. We (the person who MADE the lovely camp) cannot fight back or run outside of the camp BECAUSE IT WILL DISBAND!!!

THe higher-end camps need to STAY LIVE until the person who made it logs off.

Actually the High tech field base WILL NOT DISBAND. It is one of the perks for the HT field base. It is ONLY disbanded if the ranger does it manually, logs out, or leaves the planet. You can go hunting 1000 m away and it will be right where you left it.

You sure about that? Thats the first time I've heard that, and it doesn't mention anything of the sort in its description...

100%sure!A friend on flurry is a Frontiersman and has confirmed this. Repeat, combat will not break the HT field base. Would someone please back me up.

actually there is more to it than that....i had multiple (yes, multiple) camps up the other day on different planets...some for 12hours...even though i was on another planet

Thats very good news indeed! Reason enough to look forward to that last camp, finally be able to set one up and leave it up while I hunt.

I can't wait to get it! I hope the part about it not disbanding automatically if you leave it is true. I never leave my camps because the ONE time I did leave to help someone who was getting slaughtered, I came back to my camp only to find I could no longer view the status. Moments later it disappeared and I got NO xp for it even though my husband and I had been sitting in it for long enough to get full xp.
