Thread: JTL for rangers

Have any of you decided to get JTL? If so, which ship(s) are you planning on getting, andhas being a ranger (in term of roleplay I guess) influenced your thoughts?
First of all, I'm neutral, so I'll be a privateer.
My thoughts have been focused on the YT-1300. Despite being a ranger, I'm quite sociable so I like the idea of being able to take my friends up in my ship. Also I like the idea of the extra storage space, being able to up-sticks and make it into a flying caravan.
On the other hand, I want to be as strong in the stars as I am on the ground, so I'm attracted to the Kimoliga Hutt Heavy Fighter. I have my own ship to go where I please, and I'll have the armour and weaponary to not allow anyone to get in my way.
I haven't decided yet, but if we can own more than one ship, then I dont' have to decide, I'll just get both!

You can master 1 pilot prof, no mixing and matching. Pilot profs do not cost ground based skillpoints.

Well... Ebworld is offering people who pre-order it a chance in a spot in beta as well as giving the dates for beta. Which to this point I don think had been announced. 10/8-10/22

JTL has a seperate pool of sp's to SWG.
In the words of the devs, they have "content specific professions".

and still isn't, game stores/sites are just guessing.

Well, I just want to know if there's a galactic mini-van equivalent.
gonna set myself up doing "Wildlife Tours" to the main POI and creature hunting grounds. Oh yeas.
I'll be there in Coronet, spamming like Billy-O, "transgalactic wildlife tours. See the mighty sarlacc, meet the graul marauder, kill a kimo and back in time for a top-up mind buff and hyperheal session in the uber ranger camp just outside town..."

Think you can have all 3? And Isnt there added sp. Or do we have to drop Sp to get Pilot? If this is the case ill cancel my order now. Im not Droping Master Ranger. when i finally get it.

I'm pretty sure I'll be going for an A-Wing. I want a fast, nimble fighter to fly around in. I don't plan to get hit

I haven't really put much thought into it. I'm not currently factioned though I do lean towards Imperial. I think I'll probably just pick up Privateer and I'll have to choose a ship that suits me. I just want something fast and fairly powerful. I don't plan on doing any pvp but I want to be able to handle myself in space at the same time.
