Due to the current changes I'll be adding a forum to SWGRanger this weekend to let all of our Ranger Friends keep in touch. The server space is paid for, the domain is registered and the community is strong enough to survive even this type of setback.

Hopefully we can organize for our Rangering adventures across multiple MMOs, the new SWG included of course.

I have accounts on multiple MMOs currently. While both of my SWG accounts are currently cancelled, after the TC introduction I may reactivate my primary. I will not be activating or particpating in any other SOE MMOs again though - unless they introduce a free one as Smedley suggested.

The only reason I'd consider returning to SWG after this debaucle (and I'm referring to the handling not the ideas within) is my great friendships with the folks here and in game.

One thing is for sure. Rangers are a class above. I have nothing but respect for everyone from this forum!

• Settlers of Ganereth in the nextcouple of weeks when it launches(The in april the game converts toDark and Light and you have to start paying)


• Lotro (When it launches 06. Those who are on the forums over there: ive been posting for well over a year or two now so head over and look for wouldzey)

Ill still play these game. But ive been waiting for Lotro for the past 4 years (ever since i started getting involved in the swg development) and that still is the game i ultimatly want to end up playing.

3. Cancelling most of my other MMOs as they're SOE stuff.

I'm waiting to see what is going to happen with this set of Enhancments... before I decide on what to do with SWG.

I will be right here on Eclipse, Starrwalker will paly around with the 9 respec's, but end up swinging a glow-stick, that was the plan anyway, but as a casual playerwho just finished the village in over a years time, I look forward not haveing to wait another year just to do so. Flying, I will allways be a pilot first.

Starrdream, 2nd account, still wanna be Shipwrite and DE, hopefully dorids will still be around.

I will wear my MRanger tag forever....for I will allways be one.

I just recently got into a beta of a new dnd type online game that I am gonna try for a while. I'm thinking it will be that one or DnL. I just cant abide by giving SOE anymore of my money. I was playing EQ2 for a bit but cancelled it after seeing how they are. Changing the game yet again for the worse(imo)8 days after releasing an expansion. So very very wrong...

You may see me around still as KaiRaene, Kai, Kaitan or Tagen.

Finish Half Life 2, then shop around abit for something that takes my fancy. Whatever it ends up being it sure as s@#t won't be an SOE product.

I picked up SWG because I didn't want to do the fantasy MMO, and then when everquest2 was out I tried that for a few months on station access, I wasn't impressed, the level of detail and variety on characters is limited and not even close to SWG. I may look at D&D online, or Star Trek, I just don't have high hopes for either one.

I'll be spending my time in Eve Online.

For now, I'm going to stick around here 'cuase I play with a GREAT group of folks, and we're all willing to at least give the changesa chance and see how it pans out. Depending on what happens when MEO comes out and how the next month or two play out here, I might just be coming over to MEO to join some of you.
