Seeing that there is no place for us to go in the "In Development" or "In Testing" boards......

What is going to happen with our camps with this next publish? Camps will no longer be needed to call pets, vehicles, or mounts, and it has been said that the Rangers and Scouts will be getting some much needed attention to camps to make them worthwhile after being made useless.

Can we have some information please?

Thanks for posting this, Rancorrider. I agree that we need some information on this so we can stop speculating and start offering our input. This community is one of the best out there at offering constructive, well thought out feedback, and I'd like to see some official recognition that this is underway and that our ideas are being considered.

NRaas, I'm assuming you haven't heard anything yet?

You assume correct. I have not heard a peep from the developers about anything that is in the next publish.

I presume they are all working so hard thatthey don't have any free time to tell us anything... Yes... That's it.

Well, there's also the issue that if they tell us something is coming out and they have to delay it or cancel it, etc, then we just get pissed. So they wait till it's ready before they say anything. But if it's ready, it goes up. So the heads-up buffer is necessarily short.

I posted in the weekly in-concept thread asking about ranger updates, and Thunderheart generally does a good job of responding to (or at the very least acknowledging) players questions there, so maybe we'll get some news soon.

What I'd like to know, is if the changes they have in mind have anything to do with the outdoorsman proposal, or if it's just something they came up with internaly?

please...let it be the outdoorsman...

I tend to think we covered all the bases with what could be done with camps. I just dont want something weird done to my beautiful camps

Whether or not it's the Outdoorsman, they still at least have the camping section to go by.

heheh

after reading it, i wasnt very clear...specifically i meant the camping section of the outdoorsman proposal regarding modular/ repelling / customization, etc.

I posted that with 5 minutes left to get to my calculus class so i was in a hurry

Their system is not a very efficient one.. They don't usually run these changes by the professions before they throw them in... granted they go in test center first, but still.. some heads up would be nice.

I'm not a big fan of the "in concept" or the "in development" forum, since it looks a bit chaotic to me... things move way too fast and it's hard to figure out what they're actually talking about.

If a camp change is to be made, it should also be posted here.

"Hey Rangers, your camps will get an update soon... we'll give you guys some more info when we have it available. But we won't throw it live or on test center untill we get your approval or suggestions!"

Hmm... yeah.. nevermind. I'll lay off the crack.
