"Hey Rangers, your camps will get an update soon... we'll give you guys some more info when we have it available. But we won't throw it live or on test center untill we get your approval or suggestions!"
That would be fine, if such changes were implementable (is that a word?
) in a timely manner.
The Process:
- Month 1: Design
- Month 2: Coding
- Month 3: Testing/Release
In order to ask us what we want, they would need to know 2 months before the publish is even announced.
In essence, all the ideas must be ready for them to pick up when they decide to begin work in Month 1, otherwise the process is delayed for an entirepublish.
Hence... In Januarythe developerstook the suggestions proposed in the Modular camp system and started the process. This month they put it together. Next month they test and release it.
----
Manyin the playerbasemay not believe it, but they are professional game developers. Itend to believe they do know what they are doing (most of the time).

Well, the pub 7 stuff is out. No camp changes mentioned other than no longer needing one to call a vehicle, mount or pet.

Well... Either they consider the changes "minor" (those notes only show the "major" changes) or the improvements have been pushed until publish 8.
Though, it's still possible that they will fix some bugs with camps in the next publish... Just nothing ground shattering apparently.
----
I'm hoping for Publish 8... I want BIG changes to camps, rather than some little piddly quick fix.
[Edit: Rearranged some paragraphs.

I hear ya there, but I'm honestly ready for anything that benifits the profession at this point ![]()
