what lvl can rangers use traps on a rancor? 
and is it possible to use traps krayts?
im new at the ranger proff (novice)

Enraged Rancors give 1500xp+ per trap. I stuck p-darts, glow wire and sharp bone spurs on 6 the other day. You can also trap Dune Kimos.
Forget Krayts.
What level - ya never know til ya try. I had a 75% stick rate.

In the past, I've been able to slap the trap-smackdown on rancors at scout trapping III, though it's not terribly reliable, you're talking about 50/50 chance.

lol took on dune kimo's an enraged kimo and a giant kimo and still walked out last man standing

Same guy who made the Stormtroopers with 190K HAM that are coming groundside with the next patch (assuming they keep them in the patch from the TC version).

If the rebels have that ham as well hopefuly the XP and the faction points would be worth it.....

any level , jus depends on ya tactics , how advanced you are buffs / armor or not , creature/ droid as a tank or not , try diff methods , i do lottsa xp but lottsa incapp , but hey its fun , lol

I just made Novice Ranger and have the first trapping level at it but still haven't managed to trap a Rancor yet 
. I've been on 3 rancor hunting expeditions with my guild and still haven't pulled it off. I figured maybe I needed better traps but if somebody said they were sticking bone spurs and P darts I guess I just need to be more persistant.

Being able to stick a trap does not depend on what trap you use. It is related to your trapping skill. Therefore, a master ranger will have just as much success with a ranger trap (flash bomb, sonic pulse) as they would with a bone spur.
