Being able to stick a trap does not depend on what trap you use. It is related to your trapping skill. Therefore, a master ranger will have just as much success with a ranger trap (flash bomb, sonic pulse) as they would with a bone spur.



Which is cool because bonespurs and other scout traps take a lot less resources that many of the Ranger traps do. I love bonespurs.
