Idealy it would be nice to put a house on Endor or Yavin.... but oh well. What planet do you think is worthy for a Ranger's house?

Any of them.

Tatooine is the most hermity, IMO--the desolation of the sands. Lok is a harsher, less attractive landscape with more danger and less people.

Dantooine is the most wild, crawling with voritors and huurtons.

Corellia is the most unforgiving landscape for the traveller, so many hills and sharp mountains.

Naboo is the most beautiful, with sprawling plains and rolling hills that only a Ranger can truly appreciate. Talus runs a close second.

Rori is a lonely planet, ideal for solitary meditation to get in touch with nature.

Pick which suits you most.

Naboo or Talus

I'm moving all my possesions from Rori and Corellia to talus once I find a nice spot on my server.

I lived for many months at the top of a small hill on Tatooine (yes, very hermitty). I then decided to move to Naboo because of all the scenery.

Just recently my guild created a city on Lok so I had to move everything over there. Although there were a lot of changes (finding a GDK outside your house instead of a shaupaut, lol) I think there are many good points to the planet (and any planet for that matter), like the cool music that's played there.

I started out living on Tatooine, but my vote would be Lok for the above reasons.

But I am biased as I have lived there for 16 months now.

I love the harshness, the desolation, the danger, perfect for a Ranger.

Talus or Rori.

People forget they are there.

This post is another reason we need Ranger Huts that only we can place on the other planets 1 per ranger and if you drop Master Ranger the house goes Poof..

When my guild decided to build a city, many were leaning towards Talus. Luckily i convinced them otherwise, and we found a beautiful, large flat plain on Lok ot build New Kabala. It's got slight plateaus on 2 of the far edges of the city, and a river on another edge.

if you want to see the area, from Nym's travel about 3.5km South-West and that's where we're at.

i love Lok, and would never want to live anywhere else.

I'm a swampy kinda guy. I like the atmosphere of Rori.

When -- and if -- we get Ranger Huts, I'll build one in the mountains of Corelia. They remind me of Colorado.

My first city was on Lok as well.

We set up a town called Valinor across the river of sulfur next to the volcano. I was one of the first people there, so when i set up my large tatooine house, i could see the volcano from my doorstep.

Unfortunately, the guild died and i had to move. Now i live on waterfront property on Naboo in the fair city of Harata.

unfortunately, my house is near a spawn of stormtroopers, and every once in a while, i get hassled by "the man"

My first home was on Naboo. When i first started the game, a real-life friend of mine got me into his guild, which as it turned out, was the #1 uber leet imperial pvp guild at the time <TS> They had a "town" just outside theed, but it was just a collection of houses, not really a town.

Than <TS> moved ot Mos Pearl so we could feud with the people in Krayts End. Then a spy from Krayts End somehow took control of the city (by convincing most of the citizens that he was imperial) and then he tore down city hall. At that time, me and a few friends from the guild (mostly the crafters and PvE people) decided to split off and form our own PvE guild. and RoK was born. Then we finally settled on Lok, and build New Kabala, and about a week ago, we just finally got our Shuttleport. (oh, and July 4th will mark New Kabala's 1 year anniversary)

Well now we have to choose between huts or hats. because I doubt highly the devs would take the time to really differentiate and spellcheck. We'd end up living in a giant cowboy hat and wearing a small building on our heads.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

I maintain 3 places. I have a house on Corellia in my guild's city, mostly to satisfy the guild. I have a guildhall on Talus, not far from the Lost Aqualish cave, next to a river that has good fish, low vegetation. And I have a hunting lodge (read: medium house) on Rori on top of a mesa, which is also not on the beaten path (although closer to a shuttleport than the hall). Since Talus and Rori are not considered prime worlds by many players, I find they are decent places to get away from the bustle of the starter worlds, not to mention the craziness on Dant.

Sure wish I could build on Dathomir...the hostile creatures there would keep the riff-raff away...
