It seems they are not quite done yet. They've just changed the background as well.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

So what is the gold insignia popping up next to our name, exactly?

And does anyone else find it amusing that I'm a Pilot yet I openly advocate boycotting JtL until the combat changes go through?

Er, nevermind about the insignia. I guess that is the "officer insignia" mentioned.

*mutters something about "read the FAQ" to herself*

ah good stuff mate, yeah ill say that too then, something likethis:

Hunting Effectiveness:

Rangers believe thatbecause of ourPVE combat orientation, ranger does not provide the player with enough beneficial hunting bonuses to warrent the skill point investment. The problem itself can be split into two main areas:

1: Combat Effectiveness Against Creatures:

You can become a much better hunter by spending skillpoints on defensive mods in other combat professions, this leads us to the problem where master ranger plus another combat profession are NOT the ultimate hunters we are made out to be. To achieve this goal the ranger should have ofensive and defensive bonuseswithin the ranger tree up to master that work exclusivly on creatures.Thiswill ultimatly enhance the ranger's combat effectiveness in regards to creature combat beyond that of a defense stacker.

2: Harvesting Rates:

A Master Ranger's harvesting rates apear to be onlymarginally better than that of a master scout (around 25%-30% increase). Considering the skill point investment and specialisation in suvival/hunting this becomes a problem because it can be much more beneficial to just master scout (or hunting 4) and spend the remaining skill points in a combat profession.

what you think?

Why not just send her a link to the Outdoorsman. That would be interesting:

You over-achievers! First of all, it may be a week of two before Tiggs hits the Ranger forum. Second, if you read her post carefully, it specifically states to tell her what YOUR #1 concern is and not what you think the Community's # 1 concern is .

yeah calc but if we all say the same thing she'll be like:

"Wow theres a serious problem here guys, every single ranger has this problem, it must be major (/wave wand)"

BING fixed

Yes im dreaming but if we all say similar things then its more likely to be recognised as a major issue. Stregnth in numbers

I'd give Tiggs more credit than to fall for that! She may see it as a weak attempt to control her and say it is against the rules. It could completely backfire and cause us to slip further from a Revamp! Owen, you are killing the profession! Sorry, I got a little sidetracked.

Seriously, Tiggs asked for everyone's # 1 concern and I just want to make sure people don't feel pressured to follow the crowd on this one. BTW, the Devs are very aware of our harvesting concerns, please don't think that they are in the dark. Wow, this sounds kind of preachy, eh?
