Wow, didn't think I'd ever look at that thread again. That would be truly painful to bring that one back up. ouch.

I think my number one issues is that they need to ask us for our number one issue for the umpteenth time when we still have the same bloody issues.

Tiggy already replied to this, its a get to know you and refresher chat sort of thing. So shes not liking people replying like "see stickys at the top" and "havnt we already told you etc". She is just telling the people who say that to not post more or less.

My eyes hurt from all the pages scrolling everytime you star someone.

I like the current color for Pilot.

On the front page for Ranegr forum the top half is all Forest Green

I like.

My number #1 concern is the lack of respectful communication between the SWG staff, devs, whatever and our communities representative, Calculus. This is clearly evident by the fact that the developers appear to have no vision for the Ranger profession and have yet to properly acknowledge a single proposal by this forum after repeated attempts by Calculus to elicit such acknolwedgement. Although Calculus may feel he is being treated appropriately, I as a community member have seen no evidence to suggest any regard or respect for our community or its representative.

That is a valid concern Serraphin. I know you are not the only person who feels this way; frankly many of the people who read the forums seem to feel this way. There really isn't a problem with a lack of responses, but no one likes the response given. Basically, there is a blanket statement along the lines of "If it isn't Combat Balance related, it can't be looked at for a while." This sucks for the non-Combat professions (and those of us in the grey area).

The one thing the Devs don't do enough IMO, is post a response to a suggestion on the appropriate (public) thread. I see why they don't do that though, as it is part of the Corr's duties. We had Holocron post a LONG time ago, and no one can seem to leave that post alone...it is ancient history but people still use it in their arguments, even to this very day. The simple facts that public posts are permanent, can be interpretted differently by every person that reads it, and that people don't forget is reason enough to avoid posting anything public. You just have to trust me when I say the Devs have seen a proposal.

I rather suspect that it means you're a bit of a space cadet.

(TBH, I have no idea what that means now, but trust me, it sounded fab, groovy AND slightly humourous in my head) (Still no funnier now it says spoace cadet. And not on topic. I'm gnna get told off)

Oh, and congratulations on your 1776 post. Independent minded, huh?

I'll move along, shall I?

Calc, I have no doubts regarding whether the devs receive or see the proposals because my point of contention has never truly been any doubt of you or your diligence. I have always doubted the "They". It is one thing to know that the Devs have seen a proposal but this forum has submitted many proposals and still does not know what our Role is supposed to be from the devs perspective. That means to me that the devs have never detailed which proposals or what aspects of the proposals they were sincerely considering. The end result to me appears to be a total disregard for you our correspondent and our community. I don't want to bring up an old argument because I am trying to voice my concerns while self-policing myself as it were but I have always held that you can not assist us because "They" do not allow you too. Because "They" do not listen or "acknowledge". If you hand me a proposal and I take it then yes I have accepted it but if I never read it, question it, research it, or discuss it what use is it.
