Thread: tat avain, has anyone ever hunted this in qauntity?

Heyya,
I know a lot of rangers and we all dread the day that docs want this stuff to spawn. Well it happened on chimaera. Its going for a reasonable price but hunting Nunathat has to be a cruel joke. Have any of youi ever done this and if soo, what was you max haul in say 2-3 houirs. Im just currious. Im lvlin up a wookie and gonna see what i can do for giggles but im not bank rolling my my mining op on this little puppy /grin

personally, i NEVER hunt avian meat. currently on Lowca, a doc is paying 165cpu for Talus Avian meat, but they could make it 1k cpu and i'd still not go after it. in my opinion, avian meat is just too much of a pain in the rear to gather, though, if you've got the patience to take down these tiny creatures for the small amounts of meat, you can actually make quite a bit of money.
but me, i'll wait til something like endor wooly hide or dath carnivore meat shifts back in, and stock up on that instead.
but that's just me, i know there are plenty of scouts/rangers that jump all over those avian meat shifts.

Tat avian ... it could be worse. It could be Rori avian. I went to Rori to update the avian stats, and gave up.

Do animals still live on Rori? last time i was there it looked like some overzealous powergrinded killed all creatures on Rori into extinction.

Check out the "RORI still botched thread" for more info. It seems to be a game wide phenomena rather than server specific...

I did 5k units of a previous spawn, took 10 hours, I was getting 500 units per hour. I don't think I could get more per hour.
@ 200 cpu that is 100K credits per hour, which is actually quite low.

putting it mildly!
As for hunting nuna? It took me weeks to stop having nightmares about chickens....
The nearest I ever came to making that viable/fun was when I was doing commando... hit the lair with a flamethrower, and then pick up the ready fried chicken wings. Even then it was STILL mindnumbing (and the other commandoes all alughed at me
)

The avian wasn't that great, I tried to auction it for 150 cpu but got no takers. I was offered 100cpu but my pride prevented me from accepting
so I gave it to a guild doctor.

You collectefd 5k of tat avian? You have my respect and fear.
I started to loose it after 800 units. /shudder I did collect 10k of Rori avian once, but that was before the spawns were broken. And I've only gone back to that planet twice since. Never. Again.

You rangers are great.. you have defiantly got the best sence of humor in the game, rori hunted to extinction ROLF /wink
i thought as much though,, nice thing though now herb is going for 50cpu soo when im out hunting bantha, god thats fun..matriarcal natural spawns Ohh baby ! ill kill a chicken or too to help boost the old income..
BTW dont tell the doc if i fry up a few wings in camp, i got some burnout sauce to spread on top MMMmmm tastey, with my jawa ale bletch delicious. Ahh that is the life, camping on tat with good friends and telling stories about that time i was fishing on dath and this rancor as big as a house came lumbering by.......................
