So I am trying to make a dime harvesting woolly.

Corellia sucks. Only durnis and they drop around 19 per kill with master scout.

Naboo is better. Gualama and Peko Peko have around 28 - 31 per kill.

But where's the big stuff?

I am looking to see if anyone knows of creatures on any planet which drop 75+ (preferably 100+) wooly per kill.

There's plenty out there for leathery and scaley and bristley. So does anyone know which one has the woolly?

tortons on rori, shallow drop the least, like 24-50 where ravenous tortons drop over 100 for me..

the shallow dont baf, and are neutral, the normal tortons baf and are neutral and DB (love that bug) and the ravenous are aggro baf and db

kinda odd large turle shelle dlooking mobs have wooly hides

also banthas on tatooine drop wooly hide

Hmm tortons are pretty easy to kill too...

As of right now...bantha have good quality hide.

The quality varies server to server. I am mainly interested in quantity right now to help friends skill and to make cash on the open market.

Do you have Knockdown? If so, seek out "deranged mantigrues" on Endor. I recommend avoiding the other types of mantigrues, as they are not worth the effort / reward involved in killing them. I get around 280+ Endorian Wooly Hides per kill.

Gurreks give 250+ wooly hide per kill. Of course, that's with Hunt Master, and they're **edit** tough to kill, but hey, you asked, lol.

Yeah Deranged Mantigure and Gurrecks both have 143 base hides.

I'd love to know the formula for how harvest effects this numbers.

Deranged Mantigrue only have armor 1 but they have 25% defense to most and 100% to some.

Gurrecks have armor 2 which makes them even more of a pain.

The big thing going for them is that deranged mantigrue are everywhere you look on endor since people hate killing them due to their disease/posion ability. As a master TKA though its no problem for me since I can cure all my wounds nice and fast.

I think I'll need to tag team with a medic though to kill the kill rate up fast enough to be worthwhile. Bleeding shots will also help a lot on these creatures.

It will be interesting to see if the melee debuff traps do anything either. Personally I think that traps should temporarily lower the armor rating of the creature, would make them a lot more effective!

Also now, if anyone finds the loc, the pygmy torton cave on rori might have a good steady supply of spawn for hide harvesting.

It's been a while, but I seem to recall Langlatches dropping decent stacks of Wooly.

Bolle Bols on Naboo drop around 98 hides per kill (700 to 1000 Q) and are pretty easy to kill and dont swarm. Fambaa are good on Naboo as well, but a lil more tricky to solo.

Not sure what I was just thinking in that prev post, but it certainly wasn't about wooly hides.

Pekos and Giant Pekos are my preferred Wooly Hides targets on Naboo. A peko nest general equates to 1k of wooly hides of avg quality. Plus the 2 to 3k pistol just for killing the nest isn't bad either.

BANTHA

Tuskin bantha are the best......like 63 or more hides per (I droped ranger hunting until they fix it) They group though and are though and watch for the tuskin raiders.....i like to pull a few bantha into womp rat nests or rock beetles if i can they will attack and provide good melee shields....using the environment against itself

all other bantha are easy hide...they usuall arnt aggro (feral is the only one) and ecept for tuskin bantha none of them group attack.

Quality hides are random....cant tell the spawn rates (or factor the makes hide quality) just yet......like every 2 week or less...ATM on sunrunner the tatooinian wooley and corillian are very high like 800+ in quality and other stats.

Lokian wooley hides arnt worth the trouble killing the group aggro langlatches

Naboo has a few good critters

I think bolle Bols...like tuskin bantha only without the tuskins and they dont group...been a while since i was on naboo

Huurtons on Dantooine are fairly easy to solo and are giving good quality wooly hide right now.
