After he gets out of some meetings, Q said that he would be going through and posting dev feedback to the correspondent submissions to the boards.

Be ready for replies similar to "we're aware of it, no ETA on fix" on some issues. Once this comes out, I'll go back and ask the designer if I can post the email he sent me that gives some detail (if necessary...if it's in the feedback, then the end result will be the same.

Q has started posting...the Ranger will probably be low down in the list though.

Check the dev tracker...the other profession responses have to be reviewed We will likely not have a response until tomorrow. Oh well....lol us and squad leaders seem to be the forgotten professions anyway lol.

It couldn't possibly be as bad as what they did to Commandos.... omfg.... compared to THAT if they left us alone we would be ahead...

i think the comando's were expecting too much too soon... but it wasnt pleasent over in that forum thats for sure.

we on the ranger boards have the luxury that this is a sport tree... its not a offensive tree...so our requests are more rounded, where the comando, and allot of the other "offence" tree's are expecting Q to walk on water and bless thier weopons on the first structuring and posturing of the team to the classes.

I no longer have any confidence whatsoever in any timetable the devs may put forth. For the past two years they have shown amazing consistency in their complete inability to predict accurately when they will accomplish a given task, ANY task. They may work hard, but their predictions of when a fix, feedback, feature, or release will be doneare the absolute pits.

Personally when I'm giving a quote on the time it'll take me toprogram a module for my users, I doa Star Trek "Scotty".

"Aye Captain, it'll take 4 days to do it, but I'll get it done in 3 for ya!" (Knowing full well I can get it done in 2).

That doesn't cut it with the public though. They expect it to be done ASAP, and to be done when the developer says its going to be done. Coming in under the time stated just raising expectations for the next schedulegiven.

I'm personally very happy that they have at least started to post SOME info... it was horrid trying to suggest info in a vacuum... I also give props to Mineras as I think after reading most of the other corr. reports... His is very very well written and has a lot of good TOPICS and SUGGESTIONS in it... (no hey how does this work? stupid questions)...

I'm willing to be however, that we may get a response about the scout vs ranger #1 issue that looks a lot like... "you knew what a ranger was to begin with... so whats your problem? Don't see what you want fixed here."

Which would be very understandable as they didn't really develop the class to begin with.

I'm hoping that someone is playing on the Test Server (I may jump over there soon if we don't have a rep) just so that we can have a voice amongst the masses fighting for Ranger Luv

Don't expect anything spectacular when we do get our update though... I suspect it will be a lot of "Good ideas... we'll see what we can do"...
