Thread: Official Feedback scheduled for today

Ouch. I had to take a peak at the Commando thread for the Dev response, just out of morbid curiousity, and they were very very unhappy (understatement of the century?). Their response to the TKA issues were better, but as a TKA myself Iwas very disappointed.Ugh, I am not looking forward to the Dev response here at all. I was hoping for some positive feedback, but if they can't even cater to the issues of one ofthe most bugged classes in the game (commandos, imo) then I really hate to see what responses they are going to deliver here. My only hope is that Min can post the email he got from the Dev...since that appeared to actually have content in it as opposed to "we'll look into it" or "it's working the way it's supposed to", which has pretty much been the answers that the Dev team has been giving.

With all the constructive ideas and topics that have been brought up in the ranger community, i had much hope for improvements to our class. But i'm also a rifleman, and after reading the reply the rifleman community received, i'm rather dismayed.

We all know your doing a great job, Mineras, i just hope there's someone that will actually listen to you. But with all the responses from today, i'm sure the ranger class is "working as intended".

Just an FYI, I caught the post Q put up on the SWG Discussion forum saying that the non-combat related profession designer responses would be delayed to end of day tomorrow at latest. Something about higher level peeps needing to review the responses before they are posted....

Yes that's probably do to the fact that there were some irrate people in some of the combat related forums, and so they'd like to get the opportunity to go over and carefully word their responses prior to getting people really upset.

I haven't verified it, but I heard in another forum that the Commando Correspondant canceled his account after the Dev responses were posted today. I'll probably bounce back over there to verify that after I finish this post, but you can probably see why they are rethinking their posting strategy after the fiasco that has ensued in other forums.

I follow some of the other profession boards that I have some interest in, and I'd have to say Mineras, you're far and away the best correspondent out there. Keep up the good work. You, and all of the other mature, well articulated people who post here make me proud to be a ranger.

I think one of the things which helps us rangers maintain composure and professionalism is patience. We are not really a 'combat' class and we spend ENORMOUS amounts of time sitting patiently trying to find things to occupy our time in camps. We spend a LOT of time (at least I do) alone wandering around in the wilderness. We routinely sneak up to beasts that could kill us swiftly and either skedaddle out or sneak under their noses. I admit, it'd be nice to be a Ranger in the US Army sense, but I for one am happy being a Ranger in the SWG sense.

I floated the original week 1 submission back to the top of the board so that everyone could refresh themselves on what was said in that report.

Not sure I am to excited to see it now...they all seemed to be the same for each other yesterday. You had different questions for each profession...but the answers were all the same.

Thanks PWT ... I missed that in the "DEV Tracker" somehow.

I think the odds of us getting official feedback from Q are ZEROOOOO at this point... the only way we are going to get official response is to talk Q into sending the report directly to Mineras to post... otherwise its going to be a while until they "remember"
