People, the 'range' part of Ranger is referring to an area of land, not a distance. Think about it.

I thought you'd lost it there for a moment until I realised you mean't Ranged/Melee....


btw - Range in ranger refers to the fact that they range far from home.... (or base)

me too.

ranger does not imply ranged/ melee or anything like that. for me, and how it always has been for me, the weapon i choose is the means to the ends of being a ranger... and not being a ranger.

with a pike, rifle, unarmed, or a scatter pistol.. that is how i do what rangers do... that in and of itself does not make me a ranger. (this fancy hat makes me a ranger)
