It looks REALLY funny.

What is the benefit of moving quickly while prone?
My original plan was to be a Ranger/Squad Leader but I think I'm going to add Creature Handler to the list because I think a Ranger with animal sidekicks is a perfect fit.
I doubt we will ever see the ability to run faster on flat ground - people seem to think that would be unbalanced (maybe it would be? - no opinionon that -yet
) but Rangers should have some other movement bonus in their wayfaring line. Crawling quickly doesnt cut it.
How about a much faster recycle time on the BURST RUN ability. Cut it in half for a Master...something like that. The ability is already in the game it would just need some tweeking. (LOL) Also, the swimming faster idea is nice b/c it allows you to put some distance between youand a MOBchasing you. Currently we can use mountains, steep inclines - whatever, to get that distance. Swinging faster would would help in those areas that are mostly flat. The problem I have with Rangers is the SOE published discription of the class does NOT jive with the reality. Can we stay away from towns for weeks on end? Are we masters of exploration?
The need to go back to a cantina to get BF healed is CRAZY. Why cant BF be healed in CAMPS?
Hehe, I want to be able to fish from my camp too. ![]()

You make it sound like that's a bad thing.
Can a person with wayfaring 4, or a master ranger tell us how fast one can crawl on their belly?
Is it walking speed? running speed?
We can crawl quicker so we can more quickly get back into position after going prone and getting warped back 30m.![]()
