This is a request for help from all you rangers out there. Now, I'm making the assumption that as rangers you have done a lot of exploring or at least like to explore. I'm currently in the pre-production process of making a new video and I'm scouting possible locations. I need to find an oasis type setting...probably on Tatooine (since I can't think of another planet that would have an oasis... Lok, perhaps?). I know that there is at least one oasis on Tatooine, but it appears that the Imperials have already commandeered it and I'd prefer to avoid Imperial entaglements. I guess the oasis I'm looking for should be rather secluded and free of roaming animals and people (so they don't hinder filming by trying to kill me). A tall order, yes?
Do any of you know of an oasis like this? And if so, could you let me know the coordinates?
I know I don't have to bribe you, but I'd like you to know that the rangers who provide me with information will get a "thank you" in the credits. It's not much, but I'd want to recognize you for your help.

Try these out... if my memory serves me well, then these should be all the cool oasis spots on Tatooine (i think)
-5270 / +2810
+6645 / +5453
+6283 / -422
+1807 / -6061

Actually, dont feel bad...
requesting services would be asking us to track, or harvest something for ya...
asking for travel and cool spot advice from a ranger is perfectly fine

hope you avoid any imperial entanglements and have a safe trip.

odds are that no matter what server you're on, all Tatooine Oasises will be surrounded by player houses. it's the closest thing to ocean-front property there on Tat.
by the way, i've always LOVED the Fallen movie you made.

wait, the middle of nowhere on Tatooine is 0,0.
since that giant dustball is technically the middle of nowhere.

actually....
nowhere is right between "yonder" and "over that mountain" therefore, nowhere could be anywhere.

Hmm...you know, you're probably right. I never thought about that. Darn! I'll have to check outthe waypoints Draknev gave me on Flurry today and see how crowded the oases are. I may have to get clever with my camera angles and never film from any anglefrom which ahousecan be seen. *crosses her fingers that there is at least one oasis that is still relatively secluded* And if that won't work, maybe I'll have to come up with another setting. The main reason I'm looking for seclusion is to lessen lag.
And thank you to everyone who enjoyed my movie. This next one won't be dramatic like "Fallen" (i.e. I'm doing a dance video to get comfortable with making movies again) but I at least hope it'll be entertaining.
You know, you rangers have a very friendly forum. I should stop by more often! Thank you for your help.
