Okay, all you Rangers out there, I need a new home (galaxy).

I've been playing on Tempest for a while now, and unless you're in Coronet or Bestine the rest of the galaxy is empty. I swear sometimes I think there's maybe 100 people on that server. Anyway, I like interaction. I like people in more towns than two. I like busy hehheh. Any suggestions? Right now I'm all ears and ready to start over elsewhere.

Starsider is a pretty popular server, and ive seen quite a few Rangers on it too, which is always a plus. Besides Coronet, Theed, and Bestine, most other cities have a few people in it, andtheres almost always a group forming in the Science Outpost on Dathomir. Lok and Yavin are nearly dead empty everytime im there.

Yep, I enjoy Starsider. Naboo stays pretty busy and Coronet is ALWAYS busy as heck with hawkers and whatnot. Usually pretty easy to find groups heading out to hunt Krayt, Rancors, or any number of things. I like it alot. Big faction fighting presence here too.

New home of SWG Rangers!

Have to put my 2 creds in for Flurry. Mos Eisley, AnchorHead, Bestine, Theed, Coronet, the Mining Outpost on Dantooine and the Dathomir Outpost almost always have a lot of people there.Endor and Yavin can be crowded if you hitthem at the right times.LokandEndor vary, though they are mostly empty (except for POI's). I am rarely looking for more than a few minutes to find a good hunting group or someone to interact with. The people all seem to be fairly experienced and know how to play the game as well. In the last 3 months, I have had 1 bad group, I am really happy with Flurry, both my accounts are on that server.

Hey if you want an active server look at Eclipse. Old and strong. The forum for Eclipse is one of the most populated.

Not sure what you want to do with that character but if you want to still play a ranger we have a strong network set-up. The Antarian Rangers of Eclipse have a pa and members from other established pas. We are also growing in a town with an organics vendor and great sense of community. RIN chat channel is up every night and there is constantly hunts.

We would love to have you and would make you rich and famous quick. Even if you don't go ranger and choose eclipse we will still help you out.

Wish you luck

Wanderhome! Very few rangers there, too. We have a similar problem with a lot of people staying in Theed and Coronet (I won't even go to Coronet since I finshed the Borvo and Garm Bel Iblis missions). As far as other cities are concerned, I have yet to be in a city (PC of NPC) that didn't have at least a few people in it...even Bela Vistal and Doaba Guerfel on Corellia. As far as hunting, if you want to be alone, it is easy to find a quiet spot, as long as you stay away from the Camps...I mean caves.

Mmmm, join Sarsider you will, yes. A bright future you will have, mmmm

Seriously though, Starsider is pretty darn nice. Lots of people about at pretty much any tme of the day or night.

I've been told there's lots of Rangers here as well, but I've never met one yet.

Mostly it seems to be CH's and Riflemen who dabble in Ranger, so it's pretty easy to find folks to group with that won't rain on your parade.

Maybe it's just me, but I like Tempest because of that. I would rather have all the masses staying in the cities. I reveled in the silence as I hunted south of the Argrilat Swamps on COrellia today. I never once heard spam about buying harvesters, buffing or someone selling fuzzy bunny slippers.

There are a lot of people on Tempest, I run into them constantly. With the addition of player cities, most have left the NPC cities if favor of them, unless they need some travel, or shopping. I guess it's my love of the wilds, and the lack of lag that keeps me away from the cities, and on Tempest.....

Thanks for the info everyone.

And don't get me wrong. I love the wilderness. But I would like to be able to walk into let's say Dearic or Tyrena and see someone there. Or Mos Eisley. (still having trouble grasping how the most popular Tattooine city is EMPTY) It helps that I don't have to travel all the way back to Coronet to sell goods or get healed or roleplay a little. Spread out some grrrr.

I'll second Flurry.

It's pretty much very busy at all times.

I'd also recommend the guild/city I started ( have since left) Highland Expeditions Trading Co. based out of Mos Esker on Tatooine.

They have many ranger type folk, and will buy your creature resources from you, then sell them on their resource vendor.

Contact Lorean, Alphamate, or Constance.

Bunch of fine folks in that guild.

Starsider is a great galaxy. I am biased because I have never been to another server but the people I interact with are great. There are always hunting parties on the tougher planets. There is a decent market for Rangers. Many Great PA's. I have never actually been to Mos Eisley so I cannot comment on that. Tyrena and Kor Vella always have someone there. I hope you have a lot of RAM and a good connection for Coronet. Theed is not as bad as Coronet, but at the right times I feel like a turtle running through peanut butter. Alot of the PA cities I visit have someone there. If you choose Starsider, drop by Alya'starn (the Mesas between Kor Vella, Tyrena, and Coronet). Tell someone there that Kohath sent you.
