Thread: Looking for a new home
And here I thought I was the only one to ever use RIN. 
I never have seen anybody else in it, I just put waypoint coordinates and such in there as a temporary notepad.
We have a great guild on Kauri (the Antarian Ranger Council, Guildmaster Cataliv/Jaalt) with a Guild Hall on Tatooine just outside Mos Eisley. Everyone in the Guild is, or has been, a Master Ranger and we are primarily PvE and "Outdoors" oriented with a fair amount of "Rangers in Space" thrown in. We are an Antarian Ranger guild (as much as anyone seems to be given how hard it is to find good Jedi to work with sometimes) and do a fair amount of Scout training and support. For example, one of our guild members respec'ed from Master Ranger to Master Weaponsmith, and we just finished a run of 100 DLT20a Rifles named "-AR- Scout Rifle" that we hand out for free (or put on the bazaar at 50 credits) to help new scouts get their hands on good weapons early on.

I'm seeing the same thing on Kauri since the CU. Our guild is, I believe, now at it's highest membership level and I two nights ago I counted eight post-CU Master Rangers on my fiends list that I have never seen in the Ranger Forum. Keep in mind that that does not include a like number of sightings of Rangers that may just be "harvesting" Alt's created during respec, these eight seem to be full-time Rangers. So perhaps the population is up everywhere and were just not seeing so much of it here on the forum.

You've noticed that too lately? Seems like there has been an explosion on Ahazi at least of "master rangers". Who have been a ranger for "oh, 1 or2 months". Who send me tells asking how to make traps or the best way to solo a krayt. I try to be welcoming and nice and helpful... but when they start asking me about how maskscent works, or other things that anyone that even remotely knowns anything about the profession OTHER than the fact that there is an exploitable trap.... uugh.
But hey, we DO have a pretty strong community of Rangers on Ahazi.

HAhaha... I used to be on RIN, "rangers", "rangers.Rangers" and everything all the time, until the Mighty Chat Tab Fiasco of '05. Now it's such a pain in the arse to just get BASIC stuff setup correctly (like IM's, combat log, etc) that I must say I've neglected to get my Rangers tab setup each time I log in.
Any neener neener neener, I've seen BOTH of you in the game... heheh.
I never get tells from them. But I never put master ranger over my head either, or I just put 'Hunter' up. I see them, walk up and bow to them, never get a response of any type, and just walk away.

I am almost Master Scout at the moment but I am woprking on it
lol im on everyday onmy ranger toon i have 2 others (My tank, and my merchant/tailor free clothes to any ranger/scout on ahazi/ and M artisan) i use but 80% of time im on my ranger im out hunting most nights aswell with the other 4-5 rangers in my guild be glad when we get thease orders done be nice to just have some time to myself and have a wander about add me to your buddys list if your on and im free or we r out hunting u can come grind with us
