These links all contain very valuable information on the Ranger profession. I highly recommend checking the Ranger FAQ before you ask a profession related question. Most issues are covered there.

EDIT: The current Ranger FAQ is down. We are working on getting another one up and running.

Might I recommend having a look at NRaas's old Ranger Links page? It can be found in his sig (or here).

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.

Some text next to/under the link for NRass' links listing what is found there may help people looking at this post for information before asking a question that could be answered by clicking a link.

*I know, if you click it you can see what's there, but the average person just popping in to ask a question is more likely to click the link if he knows what can be found there.*

I definately say we put the Outdoorsman back up...but here's a few suggestions:

Add in some of the changes that Owen-Lars put in his thread for his latest view of Ranger.

I also suggest we have Scarin write some of the story as well, after his very well recieved story

That way, we have some new idea, some new authors. We remember our past and embrace our newer members as well. Sounds like a great way to maintain the best of what was while keeping with what is.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.
