Ranger Fred's School of hunting, Lairs 101
Not sure if that qualifies here or scouts or elsewhere. Just an FYI.

There is now a SLIGHTLY formatted version of the original FAQ here:
www.gudeman.co.uk/swg/ranger/faq.html
NOTE: If there are articles we should link to from the FAQ or info you'd like added, let me know! Ditto any errors or corrections.
I'll go thru this FAQ thread and the forum to build in links to useful posts asap
History
28 Aug 2004 - added links.
28 Aug 2004 - added TOC
To Do:
Redo colour scheme. Is showing very dark on some machines/browsers. Could somebody with Opera check the TOC works there?

can u use fishing for surviveal xp?
Yes you can. You can also try 'flooding' a camp and fish within it. Simply stand knee deep in water and keep trying to drop a camp, Eventually you should be able to deploy the camp with the water level above the ground level of the camp enabling you to get survival xp from the camp AND the fishing at once.
You also get lots of survival xp from crafting so a less fun but much faster way to 'grind' camps is to repeatedly craft camps.
Hope that helps

Might want to consider some kind of grinding guide for Ranger... best critters for getting all that trapping xp, strategies for the survival tree, etc.

Its when a male and female wookie love each other Alma. They go to a club and grind until daylight.
