Thread: Does Camo make you invisible on the radar?
The answer is no but it's a good idea.
This could work with Camo-kits i.e. if you apply a camo kit to a Master Ranger then they will disappear from radar.
Ok, so how does camo work? Because I am a little comfused about the whole deal?
I am Master Rifle, Master Ranger.
Example - I apply conceal on tatooine, I run around fine nothing aggro's me. But as soon as I fire a shot at something it instantly aggro's me & I proceed to run & kite the thing till it's dead.
I know that Rifle cover is borked, is the same true for ranger camo?
I also found that conceal & cover currently don't work. Apply both states & a nuna can break my cover & camo at 65 m's. And when they break my cover & camo theysometimes teleport to my location.
On a positive note - the harvesting is working as intended. ![]()
Anything has a chance to break you camo, just like maskscent, but with lower level things this should happen very very rarely. It seems to be happening a lot more than it should post-CU. Also the only thing that should break your camo is something aggressive (red dot on the radar). If a non-aggressive creature broke your camo then this is definitely a bug. The creature warping to your location is also definitely a bug.
Camo says it is supposed to work vs. NPCs but it only seems to work some of the time. When we told the developers that it was broken they responded that it was not supposed to work vs. NPCs at all since we were intended to be a creature-centric profession. Hopefully we can get that statement reversed in the future.

Excuse me. I must go talk to someone about this.

Thanks for the response.
It sure wuold be nice to use /conceal & cover more than 2 times before being found. Ohh well, I will just change tactics. Not quite the big Game Hunter I expected but it still works for me.
If ranger conceal & rifle cover is nerfed so be it. And any creature can find me no matter the con after 2 shots of rifle conceal shot & camo.

Camo is still far more effective than mask scent, even with post CU effects
