From TH's patch note for P21 (due out tomorrow, THursday 4th)

Profession: Scouts and Rangers
• Grey-con (considered) mobs will no longer break scentMask or camouflage kits.
• Lower-level creatures that break scent-mask or camouflage kits, will only attack from the same distance as they would have had the player not been concealed (rather than attacking immediately).



New HOWTO: Gather Milk, Fish, Mollusk, etc.

They are also making it possible to craft agitator motor schematics again! I know, not really a ranger issue, but sort of important for those of us who have all of the parts but can't build our creature recyclers due to the crafting bug.

So just thinking about this... if grey con's NEVER break mask scent anymore... does that mean it's now possible to level every branch of Scout & Ranger that depends on "Scout XP"simply by doing drive-bys on grey cons who are aggressive? Am I missing something here? Can I go cap Scout XP in an hour's drive around, say, Endor, looking for grey con aggressive mobs?

Well we've known that this was going to be fixed in TC for the past couple weeks, but since then we've continued to alert them to our Adhesive Mesh problem in the hotfix threads and haven't gotten that looked into, as far as we know. I'm glad to have rid of the annoyance of being agroed by low level mobs, but I'd prefer a major skill-trap would be fixed instead since the problem has been obvious for quite some time.

Though more people probably reported the agro-bug since more people use /mask than our traps.

I was in the Myyydril Caverns last night and grey cons were still breaking mask scent.

I just got my Master Ranger title the other day ! I still get scout Xp when i harvest now. Is there any benefits from getting Scout Xp after the title is obtained ?

PS!I wonder if those of us that got the title in the difficult times get an extra badge or so - that dam mask break costed me two clonings beforeI realised what was going on and dropped doing rides with mask scent on.
