Calc, thank you for taking a bit of authority in keeping us in line. Some of us have fallen from grace and tarnishing the rep we had of being thoughtful, insightful, respectful, and mature. The fact is that you can still complain about something irking you without bashing the devs or anyone else. If you got a problem, think about it, express it, and work out solutions with your fellow rangers. Yeah sure Jedi and BH wine alot and they get more attention, but consider that nobody is buying this game to become rangers; they all want to be BH and Jedi. it's unfortunate but true. I have faith that this profession will some day be everything I want it to be, so just take it easy until then.

As one of the Rangers who has given up most of his abilities due to the devs lack of interest in the Ranger profession, I know my opinion isn't worth much to some of you. However, as many of the long time posters here know, I've been after the devs to treat us with the respect and attention we deserve. For far too long we have waited patiently hoping for the best with no results. Am I saying that we have to sink to some of the other profession's level to get attention? No. But I do think we need to be far more pro-active in dealing with the devs. I have no problem asking the devs why they don't visit our forum. The last time I asked them it had been months since they had and we got a response. I saw we just recently got one more. Although that is great that TH has visited us, it still didn't accoplish anything other him letting us know that he knows we are alive. We need more than that. We need honesty. I think we all know we are going to get attention until next year so why don't they just say that. If they said we will be doing the Ranger revamp the first quarter of 2005, it would give people a choice of staying or going. And for those that leave, they would know when to come back. As I am a Ranger and a Creature Handler, you can imagine how frustrated I am with the devs. CH got nerfed to the stone age and Ranger has been left crippled. We need to keep the pressure on!

Heh, I just realised asking the devs why they don't give us attention is like standing in a closet and asking if anyone's there.

I just wish devs would say something, anything to us it has been a long time. I have been reading the ranger boards since launch (was a ranger for along time but wanted to try other things), and to be honest it has been one of the best boards. Now i do not believe 'why are devs ignoring us' post do anything, its not constructive. But recent changes caused by flat out board outrage has cause a raised eyebrow. And because of the recent changes, this may only increase cause as far I and many others can tell its working. The good boards do seem to get ignored more by, and the more colorfull boards get looked at. Now that maybe due to thenumber of people in those professions also, they do run a business.If Thunderheart just came on here and said "Hi,"Ithink most Rangers would be happy.

Now about the things we were promised nearly 11 months ago, we should be angry. Not really any word, just a our dev is busy, hes been put on JTLS etc. We were told things to expect, and we have nothing, not even a word that they've been cancelled or delayed. We must assume that those ideas are gone. I mean Rangers do have a gripe, but should try to voice it in a way thats constructive and meaningful, and just hope we get something. If we scream and call names it won't work, they're really aren't enough Rangers for them to listen to our anger.
