-buy 542 max damage T21 for 2million credits
this thing is devastating. I can kill the new rebel NPCs in cities unbuffed easily. i did 5k+ damage to one with /strafe2
PS. any rangers on Shadowfire want to group hunt?

Did you really pay 2 mil for a 542 T21? That would be a 31% damage slice on my 20k T21. I got 27% so 517. I hit 6k damge with mind shot 3 once in a while. That's the over the head actual damage not the combat spam stuff. SS2 has yet to be much use to me, so I can't say what I hit with it.

Have I commented on this 2 mil T21 before? I feel like I'm repeating my self.

oh god, let me tell you..........i'm still kicking myself in the arse!!!! i was /tell'ing with my MWS buddy....BUT failed to mention to him that is was already sliced, so he was telling me that it was a steal because he didn't know it was sliced...my fault, and i paid the horrible horrible price. and when my buddy found some at 528max,sliced for 180k, i nearly cried.... oh well, it was just credits....i can make them back eventually.

BTW i was out hunting Banthas with the rifleperson wife last night and had her play around with Concealshot. I added Tat Conceal to help her since shes still a 4/2/0/2 rifle. And was pretty darned impressed with its abilities. Now i can see where your taking down the large targets with enough patience.

TK is still faster But Rifle is an interesting alternative

If it has a trapping module and you use it, that will get it aggro'd a lot of times, or you can just do what I do when that doesn't work and tell the probot to attack while you run off hoping the creature doesn't follow you If it does, I just keep running around like mad hoping it will start hitting my droid instead of me. If it is a probot with actual combat modules that will probably work a lot better if you don't mind the weaps xp loss since the droid will be doing a lot more damage. Oh one last tip, if the droid doesn't have a self repair module, bring lots of droid repair kits lol.

Here is a post from the carbine forum, about fighting unbuffed and using carbines. Sometimes not an easy feat.

Have just come back from 2 hours on Endor hunting unbuffed and unarmoured. Made the quota I needed and had virtually nae bother at all. Ok, pesky gurrcecks did incap me a couple of times, but that beats the hell out me hunting on Tatooine earleir in the day and have 3 bloody aholes on swoops drag a couple of krayts through where I was hunting. Oh yeah, really loved em for that. :s No apologies and threatened with being reported for harassment for trying to get an apology. *ahem* Sorry, got right up my goat it did. Maskscent and conceal shot, what more do you need?Fair enough it might take me longer to kill something than someone buffed to the nines and tkm master but I get a helluva lot more enjoyment out of it because it's a challenge and it requires you to be aware of the critters around you and stay on your toes instead of button bashing and sitting back and waiting. My two cents.
