Drak, Ihave to answer that question in three parts.
#1 Rangers, even the ones I disagree with do not disgust me. The complaceny or what I deem apathy does.
#2 I will describe my thoughts next but let me point out I think community has good ideas and has already psoted them. I would be proud to be any form of Rnager this community has proposed. But that isn't the point. The point is the devs don't care, they have no respect for this group and won't even post here to the contrary themselves.
#3 Well it depends on your vision of the Ranger. In mine Rangers are more than just fisherman or reclusive mountain men. They are elite combatants of the wilderness. We clearly are not. Rangers should excel in surviving in the wilderness, guerilla tactics. We should be proficient in many forms of weaponary. Given the current set up of SWG we quite frankly should be a Hybrid class geared more along the lines of the bounty hunter or commando to be honest. We should have to master some form of combat and scouting (although the scout tree needs attention also). We should have a role in striking forward outposts. We should have methods to disrupt faction aligned cities causing increased costs to bases. We shouldn't be the galaxies fisherman and "skinners" as a primary role.

Excellent, this is an example of one post that is not whiny. I only hope you continue using this much more constructive posting style, instead of the style used in threadssuch as this thread, and this thread, and this thread, in which the majority of your posts did nothing but complain without providing any feedback. I applaud your contribution to this post, and thank you for changing your methods.
I realize that you are frustrated by the lack of progress in the Ranger profession, I believe we all are, but that does not mean we have to resort to that kind of behaviour. As for my post about this thread, I still stand by what I said in terms of it belonging here.

I get your point but I am sorry that you don't get mine. The above post style is what you want but those posts including mine above have gotten us nowhere. They are "touchy feely" but that is it. They have and will continue to accomplish nothing. And I am tired of accomplishing nothing. The correspondants have no ability to assist us in improving and posts like the above only asy to Sony that we are "quiet" or "complacent to wait". And so NOTHING happens. And when something accomplishes nothing for this long it is NO LONGER CONSTRUCTIVE. And thus posts like your and even mine above while they appear constructive because they have an air of the positve they are not. It would be different if one of the devs came here periodically and said we reviewed this and here is the status. Or your proposals didn't get added and here is why. Or we considered it but didn't change it because of...You get the picture. Until there is dialogue along those lines than Calculus and other correspondents like him are working hard to accomplish nothing.

As to the allegations of Spam and Trolling I disagree. If my posts are spamming than I say all the warm fuzy posts that have achieved nothing are spamming.

Yes the Antarian Ranger website for Intrepid server is still the same, so no worries there.
