Armor Certs: Yes... we get the battle armor (like RIS armor)
Weapon Certs: None whatsoever.. mainly because you can be a ranged or melee ranger, the whole debate here is what should we get to enhance ranger without forcing you to be ranged or melee.

Because a ranger can use any weapon I think it is a bad idea to make a certed weapon the more I think about it.
It would limit us too much.
The best Idea I see is that traps are our weapon and as rangers we need a more diverse/effective set of traps to deploy in the field. with these as our weapons we would be very effective in groups, solo, and have tons of fun.
Creature specific is our path. While trapping NPC's would be nice I would much rather be specialized as I envision the ranger to be.
I would not mind some field crafted Items. To stealth us perhaps make a mod like a powerup we can attach to our camo that would stealth us from the map(master ranger) last for a time duration like a buff and maybe prevent us from burst running.
I would love a ranger hat though I dunno how they woudl make it look. I do not want to look like robin hood I want to look starwarsy.
Perhaps give us some specials that allow us to throw multiple traps at a time? or a tool that we could do this with.
Allow us to experiment on traps as discussed above. I LOVE THIS IDEA.
Finally I think a ranger specific weapon is a very bad idea the more I think about it as it limits our classes. If we get a ranger specific rifle then what about all the non riflemen.
On the other hand some general ranged/general melee acc/speed and even more important some defensive mods would be awesome. What abotu letting our camo give us defense bonus's but only work while we are on the planet the camo is for
