So yes, I have a bad attitude about the direction the devs are going. It is just my opinion, but my opinion comes with money. The game is loosing old players as fast as it is gaining new ones. Yes sure, the new ones are having fun and think the game is fine and OK. But they are grinding and experiencing the game anew, so yes it's exciting. But I have noticed a tred of these new players. They start getting a little higher up, and into Elite professions, and start asking questions about their professions. Most of the questions get answered with "yea, its broken, or bugged and has been. Sorry that's just how it is, hopefully they fix it" And the new person gets disgruntled.

I am sorry, butI have to call you on this as it is one of my biggest pet peeves...what do you base the highlighted statement on?

I've heard of a few people getting lith rifles on Ahazi. No doubt other people I'm not aware of have got them too.

No one on the Fencer forum will confess to having a mace. No one has heard of anyone else having one. No one knows or claims to know how to get it.

The only word from our correspondent (who isn't allowed to say very much) is that getting the weapon requires a certain set of circumstances to come about which hasn't yet happened on any server.

I suppose it's cool that mystery stuff exists but having said that it would be nice if it weren't so mysterious that no one knows how to get it.

Well one day someone will discover the secret and then EVERYONE will know!

Is this the weapon to be named after Raphayl?

No. Raph's weapon is yet to be announced. It will most likely be an actual sword (yay).

Well of course I don't have stats or anything, so I'm basing this on my own experience in game on my server. I meet lots of people and are aquainted with many. I base this on the number of people I have been meeting in the last 2-3 months that say they are new to the game. (I have been hanging around Eisley and such helping noobs). And the players leaving I base on all my friends and aquaintances that have left the game in the last 2-3 months. A very limited scope sure, but it's my perception based on in game experience. And perception of the players is all that matters. It doesn't matter if they are doing lots of work on the game, if the perception of the players is that there in not any work being done. For SOE it all comes down to the players perception, and if that perception inclines them to stay or leave, and their money with it.

Could this be the mystery weapon, I wonder?

Actually there are several unique weapons linked to those quests - we just got the Lithitanium rifle. Is that a common quest reward and the mace is the rare quest reward?

Lith rifle is obtained by bringing the head of a Tusken Executioner to Victor when he is in power. It's a crap rifle. I let my friend take the head in.
