But apparently can't spell "canon" correctly. =)

When the Bothans take over it will be much like the novel 1984, and I will replace the way you foolish people spell things with all the way I spell things. Then, everything I do will be right. So there.

in all honesty...my spelling is horrible. and the sad thing is that I'm an English major...and I just don't care about spelling anymore.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

I'm going to have to lean towards the Rodian side of the conflict here.Bothans are nothing but midget wookiee outcasts. Besides, Rodians remind me of kif from Futurama.

Wow, this was the wrong question to ask. So many stubborn bothans out there.

Well, I am the original poster, and I've made my decision: Rodian!

They're just so much cooler, and seem more the hunter type. I tried playing a dog (bothan), and I just felt as if my character should be playing fetch instead of SWG. So Rodian it is.

As a side note, frills are awesome! Can master IDs give other frill patterns that are not possible at character creation?

Rodian for the win!!!!

Don't forget ot head off to Kashyyyk and hang out with your Rodian brothers and sisters in the hunting grounds.

as far as the frills go, i'm honestly not sure. i know they can give you more eye colors, but Oreet's never changed his frills. I have the frill patter with the frills just above the eyes and off to the side with Orange tips.

by the way, if you ever go Bounty Hunter, rodians get a bonus there. we get a 10% bonus to BH xp given out. so if a non-rodian gets 1k xp off a kill, you'd get 1.1k xp. 10% might not sound high, but it's a HUGE help.

Wookiees are better then both cause they rip there arms off and juggle them. Besides Wookiee get ranger bonuses too.

We don't transplant plants because we respect a planet's natural ecosystem, and realize that by introducing new Flora to a region could have severe consequences to the regions's natural life cycle.

Suppose the primary food of a Gurk is the berries found on the small bushes around lok. These bushes require a certain nutrient found in Lokian soil. Well, if you bring seeds from some Endorian bushes from the Endor desert onto Lok, those new bushes could possibly use up all the available nutrients in the Lokian soil, thus killing off the berry-bearing bushes of Lok, and those eliminating the Gurk's primary food source. The Gurks would gradually get thinner and thinner, until they begin to die off due to lack of food, and could eventually become extinct.

So your Bothan "nature-loving" is in reality a very careless way of treating each planets' fragile ecosystems.

Don't forget dying in droves to steal intelligence the Empire wanted them to have.

No Bothans actually died to gather that information. The Rebellion was told that to get extra compensation money. They're all on a beach-front planet sipping fruity drinks and the one Bothan that stubbed his toe is being tended to by a plethora of nurses.

I think it's time to send in a Squad of the Elite Newpaper Storm-Squad to that planet. They'll all be equiped with the Sunday Edition of the New York Times, tightly rolled up, with an Imperial-issuedrubberband to prevent unrolling.

Unfortuately when they purchased information from the bothan spy-netto find this planet they were directed to a rather unstable volacano planet.

They have not yet returned.

Silly, we know how to use a brush and being Rangers and all, know how to keep out invasive species. Like Rodians. You let them shoot first.

Greedodid not shoot first! >.<

See, you don't let them shoot at all. You shoot them, after some witty dialogue.
