1. /combatconceal - there already is a skill like this called /takecover but it can only be used while prone. If combatconceal is to be a self buff (+ ranged defense) and usable while moving, that would be great.

crap! whats going on here? my posts keep self-posting while i'm typing. Anyway moving on.... I also wanted to make a comment about traps. The traps I would love to see is an AOE Root/Snare usable on both creatures and NPC's. This can be either in the version of a thrown or launched trap or laid on the ground along the path that the enemy would take to get to the ranger.


Also, there was mention made that /conceal should only work in wilderness areas. I also want the conceal ability to be usable inside dungeons and caves.


Instead of the guille suit, i like the idea of a "high tech adaptive armor" - that will bend and refract light so the ranger can blend into the environment and look like the Predator - who to me is the ULTIMATE hunter. This would be a very high level ability - possibly conceal 4 or even master ranger - would be usable on all planets and would use a combination of organic and inorganic materials to craft - OR would not be craftable by a ranger at all but by an armorsmith or BE/Tailor, but only rangers would get the cert for it. This armor would not be as effective against damage as composite or ubese but would give HUGE bonuses to camouflage and to ranged defense.


My vision of the ranger is NOT the grizzly adams wilderness hunter, but the stealthy, military special forces sniper type.
