Thread: Well our existance just got worse. The Devs definitely hate us
Well duh, that's because you are grouped and combining forces. You are in affect getting the benefit of her combat skills! How about you each spend a half hour hunting solo and see who gets more?

LOL. That's just funny. Nearly every advanced profession has a "signature ability" I'll call it. The sort of thing that is highly desirable and people not in that profession covet and cause them to want to dabble into it to get it.
Dancers/Musicians: mind buffing
Doctors: HAM buffing & resurrecting
Carbineer: knockdown
Commando: flamethrower
Creature Handlers: wielding lightly armored, kinetic tanks
Smuggler: feign death, weapons/armor slicing
I could go on and on...

And I'm always buffed (so is she) with a 700+ damage T21, 400+ Jawa, and a +500 DXR6, and enough food to do the job. (Brisc is a PvP/PvE character, so I've gotta have the best stuff for both). Like I said, I think that at some point it comes down to equipment, but if I went back picked up Ranger again, I am fairly positive I could beat any TKM in harvesting.
Im on the same side of thefence as nemo on this.
I mean i get all my weapons free that are damage sliced thanks to a great friend

Ihave weaponsunder that but those are the top end damage sliced ones.
I would presume i am better off than many eclipsians too having my sliced weapons for free. I thing yours are definatly puped or atleast amazingly krayted.
Out of curiosity too, does your partner also use powerups on his/her vk?
I admit i have no experience with harvesting against a carb master ranger or infact any other master ranger +anything but TK.I hold myself in a good light and think i am a good harvester that manages to fullfill all the contracts i undertake................... however from past experiences with close friends i have experienced slower harvest totals.
Its not the fact i can harvest more per kill, its the fact my friends can harvest more without fully leveling ranger.
I supose i could go tk but i dont want to, i want ranger to be my hunting profession and rifleman my weapon profession
